"What was hidden by Maya? You were hidden by Maya. Maya did not hide the truth from you. You are the truth. So the play of Maya was your own play." This took my mind into complete silence for couple of minutes, which usually never happens. And when I rethink the last line again & again, it gives such a strange feeling I can't describe. It was an outstanding talk by Swami ji. What a valuable asset he has provided through this lecture. Thank you so much 🙏

@Pqihtyieojn122 ай бұрын
Sadhuguru knows a few aspects of raja yoga and that's all. He never emphasises the necessity of Yama and niyamas even. He just speaks English fluently and manages to deceive people. He also has no knowledge of the indepth knowledge of the upanishads the basis of every vedantic Darshana, (the thing we call hinduism is nothing but vedanta. The yoga darshan however is older than vedantic schools mostly as it takes from sankhya more than vedanta) just superficiality at best. My suspicions in his authenticity rose when he started talking about swami vivekananda's life while having no knowledge of it except superficiality. That's the same reason I dislike western philosophers, too superficial. Buddhist schools of thought like in Nagarjuna's Madhayamaka philosophy, Dharmakirti's Yogacara-Sautrantika philosophy and other schools are much more profound than these. But the most profound philosophy is Gaudapada's Ajativada and Swami vivekananda's interpretation of Maya. These two coupled with advaita vedanta makes advaita the most profound philosophy in the whole world. Sadhguru clearly dodges questions on advaita vedanta and that shows his utter ignorance. It will do you great good to stay away from such conmen.

Beautiful Synopsis by Swami Sarvapriyananda; a walking talking encyclopedia of knowledge in Adawita Vedanta and most contemporary Western religious philosophies. The more fruits you add to your smoothie, the better it tastes. As Vivekananda said, A frog croaking loud and hard from his own will never admit that anything can be bigger than the confines of his own well. In that respect, we should welcome the intermingling of diverse philosophies and belief systems. A good example of Maya is like watching a movie in the theatre. We are so immersed in the characters that we laugh and cry with them for the entire duration of the film but as soon as the lights are turned back on, we see the blank white screen. Neither the movie characters were real, nor the screen but only the seer is real. This is what Aashtavakra said to Janaka 'Neither that was real, nor this is real, Only you are real'.

My humble greeting to all. I thank the creator of this video for bringing us divine knowledge and thus enlightening our minds. Finding fellow seekers is a rare thing and I will like to use this space to share with you all something about my own Guru, Swami Shri Ajay Gurudev. Guruji, started his inner journey at an early age. He did not have a Daihik (one with a physical body) guru, but was initiated on the path to self-realization by Mahavir Swami. Guruji underwent many trials and tribulations, but at the age of 13 he emerged victorious, self-realized! Guruji has been a beacon of light for many, including myself. I have first-hand witnessed many of his leelas and what some might call, Miracles. Due to his grace, I am working in the USA and also treading the path of yoga swiftly. Guruji does not believe in fame or building ashrams, despite living in the heart of New Delhi he has stayed fairly anonymous and meets only a handful of people who are sincere and want to tread the spiritual path. Guruji, a while back took on the initiative of sharing his knowledge through building a website thetreasuredivine.com/home/. The objective of this website is to guide seekers treading the spiritual path and also to bring the positive vibrations of a True saint to one and all. I hope this humble initiative will be helpful in your spiritual journey and may the divine principle enlighten your lives.
