Divine play of One with great incarnations in individuals. That One plays each single jiva role. That's also realization. Each sentient being will attain the greatest by the One plays individually. That's realization. One remains as supreme. Thus the play of Maya will continue.

Thank you. I do wonder though, is mukti freedom from cycle of life and death or is mukti freedom from suffering due to life and death. When we know the true reality of our “lives”, we can be reborn but we are no longer suffering. If a drop merges in the ocean, and another drop/ wave arises, has that original drop gained Mukti? Since all that arises is the same water, perhaps freedom is only freedom for ocean from limiting itself to thinking its only one drop.

Hello Swami. I have a question if you can please help: I am the witness consciousness, I experience my mind, my thoughts, my desires. How do I seemingly make decisions when I am only the experiencer and not the doer? In the practical application of Bhakti, how do I do actions with love for God, when I am incapable of doing anything? All I can do is witness my experience, how do I, as the witness, take control of my experience for the purpose of Bhakti? Thank you for your help.
@gameone65975 жыл бұрын
Do it the same way, you eat, sleep, move, work, write, speak, hear, watch & listen to lectures and so on. If you are inclined towards Bhakti, pursue it in its own way. Don't mix it with self-enquiry, for now. Focus on God, not 'I'. Gradually, immerse entirely in God. Secondly, you don't 'control' in Bhakti, you surrender.
@bennicholas26435 жыл бұрын
@@gameone6597 Thank you for your help. Reconciliation of non-dual truths and conceived-duality for the sake of Bhakti appears troublesome, but it is surely my ignorance that makes it thus. I will continue my efforts in both Jnana and Bhakti and, perhaps, the harmony of both will come naturally.
@gameone65975 жыл бұрын
@@bennicholas2643 You're welcome. To add something more 1) If the objective is not academic interest, but to actually realize the ultimate, one must move based on their strengths and nature. I'm suggesting with this assumption. 2) If the main question is how to practice Bhakti (if I is the witness etc.), my suggestion is as before. Summarily, surrender to God, keeping aside analysis of 'I' etc. It is needed to make the mind Sattvic to grasp the subtle Atma-Jnana. Although, it is sufficient in itself. 3) Practically, reconciliation of 'truths, should be of no concern to a Bhakta at all. Only God should matter. 4) If self-enquiry is the main approach, mixing it with name-form Bhakti may tend to confuse in the beginning. 5) if the Bhakti part was put aside and the question was mainly to understand 'I' as in - "how can I do/practice anything, if I'm merely a witness consciousness"?. It is not difficult but needs some more deliberation. Just think which 'I' is referring to what and what 'witness consciousness' really means. You'll get it. I'll not spoil it for you. 6) Still if reconciliation is really needed, here's the thing. The ultimate realization of Bhakti is, God is everywhere/everything, and there is nothing else. Only apparent name and forms. Only One exists in and through everything that appears to exist. The ego 'I' disappears. Note, this is non-duality, same as ultimate realization of Jnana, where also the ego 'I' is removed and 'I' is equated with That non-duality. Technically, in the ultimate there is no 'I', nor there's any sense of it, since there is nothing apart from that. 'I' and 'everything else' appear together as markers of duality.

@@gameone6597 Thanks for your help. I've been on the path of Jnana for a short while but I am new to Bhakti.
@davlmt5 жыл бұрын
@@gameone6597 Swami sarvapriyananda has advised many times in his talks that Bhakti will be of great help for those on the path of jnana (but that the reverse isn't necessarily true). In my case because of my education (atheist and strongly rational/pro science) and maybe my nature, I have always found impossible to accept any form of bhakti based religion/spirituality, but the logical arguments of advaita vedanta have completely won me over and I have now the desire to engage in bhakti as well, with a newfound faith first based on rational thoughts. I have decided to visit the swami of the only ramakrishna center in my country to get diksha and an ishta devata. Do you think I shouldn't be mixing self-inquiry/nididhyasana practice with devata-oriented japa and puja? That seems to be the way advocated by ramakrishna mission.

how does someone overcomes fear of physical pain?
@VedantaZenOneness5 жыл бұрын
Hi, It is not the one day process but it will come after much practice or after certain devotion toward the GOD. Reason for not coming in flash: We have a storehouse of the sanskaras and till there is a sanskara of fear of pain, we can't get rid of that fear. But if we remove that sanskaras using continuous devotion or the practice of Karma yoga or practice of the raja yoga or the practice of the knowledge then we can overcome a fear of physical pain.
