Two things you missed which were subtle. 1. SRK's burden isn't limited to film. He is frequently called to various types of events, not as an actor but as an ambassador. Recently called for voiceover on parliament inauguration. Non-filmy World works has made him known as someone of importance even to the people who don't watch movies. 2. The acceptance of his own mistakes and saying sorry publicly to the accidents and controversies made fans of other hero's to love him too. e.g. His respect for Jaya and Bachchan made it easy for the fans of Bachchan to love him without any issues. Same with Salman , Amir. Same with accident of USA. He insulted himself in his tweets sarcastically. And handled everything with humor. Passing the message loud and clear but not making opponents get offended. He always navigate controversies with modesty, Sarcasm or humor ; still passing the message loud and clear. This prevents opponents going in combat mode.
