Actually "0" in the denominator makes the question undefined.. As anything decided by 0 is undefined I too was earlier confused in that but sir has written correctly... We want equal to 0 not Undefined that's why it is so

@Vijayaansh Shivgotra Because, it can Also Become zero, At x = -1. It is always positive but I can also be zero that's why We can't multiply it. Instead we can multiply Numbers like x²+1 because they can't be zero and always +ve.
