In my opinion, you should go for BTech if you get your desired branches like CSE, IT, ECE, etc. in tier 1 colleges like IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, Jadavpur,DTU, NSUT,etc. If you get admission offer for BSc from tier 1 colleges like IISc, IISER, NISER, etc. then go for BSc over BTech in tier 2 colleges. Otherwise choose tier 2 and tier 3 colleges for BTech over tier 2 and tier 3 colleges for BSc.

Sir, BSc means Scientists (physicists, mathematicians, Biologists etc) who are the true seekers of scientific frontiers and BTech on the other hand is equals to engineers who use Scientist's works to solve problems, so i would say both have their own merits but for pure curiosity and thirst for knowledge is BSc/MSc otherwise for Money it is BTech

Btech is more in demand in India but still very few get placed in good companies.. Or we can say very few get the jobs.. Somewhere it's the unemployment.. Bsc is better but not in demand in India.! And India se bahr jana nhi mujhe🥲 Basically btech is for the pre skilled ones.. Becoz as sir mentioned.. Though btech is about technology but there's no great technology in indian colleges.. BSc and BCA courses have good scope in India, but the duration of these degrees should be 4 years instead of 3 years just like BTech. Then BSc and BCA students can also directly pursue their master's in foreign countries like USA and Canada instead of completing their master's in India and then pursuing PHD abroad.
