Here's is how to see what market want pick up any technology understand it's basic concept of how it works and think about it creatively in what ways can it be used and if you came to conclusion that It can be used in a lot of ways , market will want that thing. Also consider from how popular that thing is if it is a lot of popular then demand will go down . Like a thing which is in development but has done enough development that it is near at the stage that it can be easily deployed in market in few more years that will be in demand .
