Great video. Makes me think I purchased the wrong Vedder holster for concealed carry but I will try it and see. The 30 day exchange is a good thing. Of course, the Light Draw could be ANOTHER addition to the collection. LoL Cheers!

Been carrying a Fobus paddle since the mid '90s I like the easy on but difficult to remove from belt feature. I typically carry with the paddle inside my pants. It locks onto the pants and my belt. There's no way anyone is going to remove the holster, but obviously it's quite easy to remove the gun. With all that said, I just purchased a new Fobus paddle for a P365X. What a difference. Paddle is tiny, and it does not lock onto my pants very well at all if it's worn inside the pants. It stays in the pants maybe 50% of the time. This new paddle style has to be worn with the paddle outside of your pants if you want it to stay affixed. I'd be curious how the Vedder ProDraw works with the paddle both inside and outside the pants.😅

I would wear the paddle outside the pants so the rubber grip texture is against the pants and not my skin or thinner underwear.

Good video and have so many Vedder Holsters and all with great construction. As paddles go only around the house or yard and most of these paddles are just too weak in stabilizing the carried platform in my experience. Safariland has the best paddles that I’ve run. Again, paddles do a poor job of closeness needed to control a grip. Their LIGHTDRAW I can cancel with no problem even with just a T-shirt.

Thanks for the informative video. As you wouldn't suggest this holster for concealed carry under a hoodie or untucked shirt, what Vedder model would you suggest?

I have three holsters for each of my four pistols. Paddle, outside and inside. The paddlesI use for permit qualifying. Outside for winter. Inside for summer. I consider myself lucky with a box of holster I actually use. I have three other brands that are box queens. I’m sure there are others but I stopped looking after Vedder.

I was looking at this holster until you got to the poor concealment comment. I want an OWB holster for my Kimber Maco r7. But I want it for CC. I don't want the belt slide, but would like the clip/paddle. Can you recommend something for me?

the problem with several paddle holsters i have tried is that they just sit further from the body and that pushes the grip out causing it to print. this belt loop holster goes on very easily compared to others i have tried. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHvRnqqKlqaefdk

I am 5-8" my problem is I think it would print to much. I really want an OWB for my Sig Sauer P365 XL Spector (Not the comp model). The 6.5"length is to much for an IWB for me. I am sure over time I will find something. The Alien Gear way over-prints for me.

Does the gun rise as a contour or lower?

That paddle holster may be easy to be taken, but not Alien gear cloak paddle holster you couldn't take it off me..
