It is said in srimad bhagvatam and bhagvat gita that only by chanting the name of krishna one directly associate with him and krishna has said that theres no Supreme reality other than his name and when krishna incarnated as chaitanya mahaprabhu 500 years ago he spreaded chanting of his holy names as kaliyug will increase in the coming years so if you just chant his name you will be associating with him personally and kaliyug wont do anything to you.

They're called Malechas in puranas. At the time any other religions did not exist. Barbaric meat eaters from foreign lands devoid of civilization were called Mlechas. Even today if there is a dosha in one's kundali such as rahu dosha one is said to be banished to the land of mlechas whicb is interpreted by modern astrologers as foreign trip or job possibility. Further progress like it is taking place now is not possible in Kali Yuga. We are actually 321 years into Dwapara Yuga. Kali Yuga is only 1200 years. Since two Kali Yuga comes in sequence Total 2400 years of Kali Yuga is now over and we are now in Dwapara Yuga 321.

2500 years ago Chanakya wrote things about human nature that are true even today and were back then. The fact is that all 4 yugas exist simultaneously throughout all times and in every person. If only one wakes up to this fact, one will see the world and oneself for what they are instead of trying to find idealized or criminalized versions of both in texts. Just look at the inventions in Kaliyuga, all the wars, rate of depletion of resources and the degradation of humanity. It is plausible that at some point in the future, civilization will become too dysfunctional and chaotic. In order to restore Satyuga, all the bad things about Kaliyuga will need to be cleansed. Unfortunately, this means that all the material scientific advancements of Kaliyuga, if there are any left at that point, will be lost.
