When you're playing the verse, are you playing with all your 5 fingers? Can you please tell me how you're playing the A - 5th string?

Looks like it but I'm not using the 5th finger, I'm using the thumb to play the 6th (and sometimes 5th) string and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th finger to play the 1st, 2nd and 3rd string. WOW this sounds so complicated but it's really simple. Thumb playing "bass" strings and next 3 fingers 😆 playing first three strings. Hope it helps!
