The reason I want to start doing nails is because I want to be really good at something, and I want to do it for my mom. The nail salon is expensive plus they don’t do nails that good where I live😢. I see videos of people my age doing their nails and they look sooo good, I want to be like them! I have always loved acrylic nails and it is my dream to do them!!

Personally I always had a passion for nails ever since I was ten when I got my first full set. I started doing my own nails when I turn 12. I used all my birthday money to buy supplies and I never stop practicing after that day. Now I’m 15 and looking to open my dream nail shop. My aunt told me I shouldn’t become a nail tech because of my race which only made me practice even harder. I found this channel by searching for how to open your own nail shop and ever since that video I completely fell in love with the whole idea of having my own shop. Nails are truly my calling in life and I can’t wait to see how far I can go with it.

I started doing my own nails at a young age...and by this I mean painting them, I didn’t realize this was MY way of coping with financial and family issues. This past year has been the absolute hardest on my family, with my mom being in and out of the hospital, losing our house, our car getting repossessed, and learning how to adjust to all this during my senior year of high school, it’s been stressful. For others coping with stress they meditate or read a book, for me, it’s always been doing my own nails. I’ve been a girly girl all my life and want to learn how to do acrylics and learning how to shape nails, this giveaway means the world to me. Watching your videos and learning your tips and tricks has given me the courage to go forward with doing nails. If I don’t get chosen that’s okay, at least knowing there is a person out there being generous enough to do this for others is inspiring and wonderful. Wishing you and your family the best, Ashley B 🦋✨

I started my own little business, at only 15 and I’m self taught because personally my parents didn’t have enough money for me to get some classes so I started watching your KZbin videos to help me. I feel like doing nails I have passion and I have fun with my client I get to know more about them as I’m working. I started my business for the reason of not having enough money for christmas and giving my family presents on there birthdays or just in general. I’m so great full for my family because they work supper hard and I wanted to give back to them for everything they’ve done for me and my sibling. My father has worked hard and has been supper supportive, my parents motivate me to do better in life. But I now find nails as art especially because I like art you get to design and create and have fun. I wanted to do nails to feel a little bit more confident in myself because I was bullied and being told I was pretty in of hurt. But I can’t now help other girls and women feel more confident 💕I love your videos and I hope you grow more bye love you ❤️

I figured this could help me have emotional and financial healing and peace.I told my mom about it and i just looked at her in the eye and could tell she didn't believe in it and so i couldn't have capital.Right now this give away is my only hope and I'd be so greatful if i won it.❤🙏

Hello! I’m a 23 year old mom and I started doing nails after I found out there are options outside of just working inside of a salon setting. I’ve always appreciated and loved the art aspect of nail designing. My dream is to create my own home based nail business. I struggle with severe social anxiety and depression and I find it very difficult to work in a “normal” work setting with other people. I still work an hourly job for now but Im working very hard to become my own boss, do what I love, and also spend more time with my 1 year old baby boy. Btw I love your channel and videos!! You have definitely taught me a lot and I love to hear everything you have to say. Keep doing what you do girl!! ❤️❤️💕✨💅🏼

I wasn’t allowed to get my nails done growing up as a young girl. When I got my first job I saved up for my first set at a random nail salon. It was a dip powder sparkly nude set. It was overpriced for the quality of work and my cuticles were on fire 😭. I thought I hated nails and that it wasn’t worth the risk of infection and pain. I started watching nail techs on KZbin who took pride in their work and didn’t comprise just to get clients in and out. It inspired me to be a nail tech, and if God willing, I want to open a salon that caters to my clients and practices responsible hygiene. I love your work btw, and God will bless you because you’re helping so many people build themselves with your videos. Thank you boo ❤️❤️❤️

As well as hair and make up but now that im older and In my twenties and with the pandemic I see that doing my own nails was a way to practice and becoming better. At something I like doing but didn't see me doing back then and now I love doing nails on myself close friends and family. I started practicing doing manicures on my husband. he actually told me to go to school and get a degree and license for nail tech.. I am going to listen and do that because it has become a passion. Never thought I had the patience to do but look at me something if I could everyday I would love be creative and working with all types of acrylic powders and gel colors its a true blessing to follow a passion. thank you for your videos I learn everyday something new and if I can rewatch a video 10 times to get something right I will. Honestly my story for the love of nails might be a little sad. I'm self taught been doing my nails off and on for 10plus years. After having a career and kids I was in a car accident that ended my journey into disability. And there went the love of everything while going thru 2years of rehab.long story short income went to disability income so I picked back up my self taught skills. I would love to try the e-file drill because you mentioned its quiet and I'm left with nerve neuropathy in my hands.so the less vibration the better. B/c of Covid-19, I lost my job and I’m doing as much as I can do to pay bills. Recently, my friend gave me an acrylic nail kit and I tried doing my nails. Turns out, I am really good at them! (Well, I’m my perspective) lol. I am now really into doing acrylic nails and putting money on the side to buy products little by little. This would REALLY be a big help for me because I can have all of the supplies I need and won’t have to worry about saving a few dollars to buy my next acrylic. Then I can start doing my friends/ family’s nails & make some money. This is how I will start my new thing! Hoping to make my hobby into a business ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s so satisfying and relaxing, the joy I get seeing my clients leave so happy after a nail service give me peace. Started in the nail business as a child age 10. Grew in the profession as a professional at the age 19, after completing one year of beauty school.

I'm not someone who would get my nails done often and every time I went to a nail salon to get them done it wasn't the best of experiences I would imagine. So I constantly polished my nails at home, then acrylic nails caught my attention and I've been practicing and trying to better myself. It's something I enjoy it relaxes me and drowns me out from the chaos that's going on around us.

Anyone can tell you that doing nails takes patience & hard work. I started looking into nails because I thought it would be a unique way to hustle and make some extra cash. I had a mini nail business back in high school & I would do my friends nails for free. It was a way to better myself and practice over time. Plus they walked away a free set of nails, might have not been the best but it was a process lol. Well I lost inspiration & started lacking but I’m currently looking for ways to boost my creativity and begin working on nails again. My mom was the one who really pushed me to go to school and learn how to do it. I finished school but I still struggled alot with my technique and I actually gave up because I doubted myself. But i continued to do my own nails and my friends nails here and there. I've been back and forth for years still struggling to make it into a career. At one point I gave up and gave all my stuff away to a tech I knew. Am at the point now where I realize this is something am truly passionate about. Hence why i started to do press-on and i posted them and everyone in the comments said they looked good which really boosted my confidence and it made my mom believe in me too. After, that I decided to do my own nails. Once I started to do my own nails I dove deep into nail art and found that I love it. Creating nail art is not always easy. There are a great deal of creations that definitely take time to master, but it is cool to learn. It’s also, amazing and magical to see all the creations you can make on a nail and even more cool that you were able to provide someone with beautiful, flawless nails 😍😍😍😍❤️

I love how honest you were about all the products! 💕 I’ve love doing my own nails since I can remember, but in my adult hood, I’ve always paid to get them done because I love them long. So I came across your page, and I’m so excited to watch the rest of your videos.

I’ve been braiding my own hair since I was 12 but never really got into doing my own nails. I started in October after binge watching your videos and seeing what I can do to save my coin and do them myself. I started with polygel and have moved onto doing Apres dupes until I can gather enough supplies to start using/doing acrylic nails. I’ve learned when it comes to doing my own nails practice is key 🔑

I actually started watching nail tutorials last year when I was having a rough time and when I found your page I got serious about doing nails (we're both obsessed with coffins and matte!). I just ordered my first set of nail stuff to get started!

What made me start doing nails was because of anxiety and depression while in the military. I needed something to distract me and keep me motivated to keep pushing everyday past that. It was something I always wanted to do since I was younger and finally made it a goal of mine to get better at.

I love to have nice looking nails like alot of my friends. And always wanted to get them done professionally. But been on a pension doesn't allow you to just do it when you like .so I started looking into different types of nail art products to do at home . And. Now I want to watch KZbin video to learn the best way . And you happened to be one of the first video I watched and started looking at your video to learn . And I need to practice . You do give a lot of advice and show what to do and not to do great tips .thanks . Looking forward to learning more . And doing my own nails . And feel amazing having nice looking hands and nails . Thank you 🙂💅👍

What got me into doing nails is that I always love the art of what goes into crafty a nail from scratch, how you make you or your client’s vision come to life, my love and passion for the craft and to see your client’s face when you gave them the nails they wanted is priceless. This why I want to school to get my nail tech license.

Quarantine. My mother always taught me that a lady’s nails are always perfect. I simply had to learn how to do them since I could not go get them done! Videos like yours taught me how to do it. So thank you! This is obviously not for the giveaway (few months for that) just wanted to let you know how appreciated you are!

I'm a college student so being able to do my own nails, saving trips to the salons, and making quick cash on the side, is vital for keeping up with my school expenses!

I've just started learning and what got me into nails is basically wanting to create my own designs and get the nails how I wanted vs. Going to a so called professional in shop and ended up leaving not what I got/wanted. And this happens so much not just to me, but a lot of women who wants beautiful nails. And I needed to be that nail tech person to give it to them and delivered what they wanted and paid for. It's a dream and I'm not turning back. Watching your videos and taking notes has given me such amazing tips! I highly appreciated you taking your time to make these videos. You're a true teacher! I love you.

I really wish I would’ve known about you and your channel a year ago. Nails is something I have always been interested in, even as a child. I would be the one to do everyone’s pedis and manis at home, even if it was just clipping, filing, and buffing the nail to give it a natural shine. I stopped focusing on myself and my aspirations in life after I decide to start a family right after HS. Now I’m 25 with 4 kiddos and currently work 10-12 hour shifts at a warehouse. I do enjoy the job so far but I would also like to focus on something I like and what a better way to do it on my time and be able to enjoy my littles at the same time. Money is tight but I won’t let that be an obstacle ! 💪❤️ your videos are an inspiration. Thank you 😊

When I first had my nails done , I was instantly hooked. I loved the time, the steps to do them, everything. I decided to start doing nails last summer so i choose a nail tech class in my school and start my journey but covid had other ideas. So I couldn’t finish my class & I have to restart next year, but another thing that made me start was the having side job when I go to college or get a full time job as a saving. Im practicing on friends but don’t really have the money to invest on the best products, this would be a great opportunity💕
