I’m having such a hard time figuring out what sanding bands are for, can you please make a video explaining what the fine medium and coarse sand bands are for? Do I need to purchase all three? I see really bad reviews on almost all the Amazon sanding bands so I want to buy some kiara sky ones but they’re a little pricey so I just want to know which I need more? Do I need all three?

You gotta try the CND Offly Fast! It’s infused with vitamin e oil and works so quickly! It’s a must have in my opinion. Kind of pricey, but so worth it.

I have to get gel because when I was learning acrylic I gave myself an exposure allergy because we didn't have KZbin back in the day and I couldn't afford school so I just bought the products and did trial and error. I didn't know not to get the nail liquid on my skin, especially cuts. It was the 90's, we also didn't know to check ingredients, most acrylic back then was the kind dentist's use...so we're the e-files. Anyway the point is, I have to do gels now and I also hate the way the soak off feels. I found the easiest way is to soak them for 20 min then wipe them with a dry paper towel, you want to wipe by starting at the cuticle and moving down to the free edge using strong pressure. Keep doing that a few times and then use a hand file you dont care about at the end to gently remove the remnants.

I love doing soak offs in the nail salon.. then running to the next client to do a quick fill in, polish then coming back to that same soakoff client to give him/her a full set.. then a pedicure after lol. You don’t know what it is to work until you work in a nail salon or have your own! Tiresome, but worth it.

To help me take off gels I learned to use nail polish remover. I put it on cotton pads and wait every 5 minutes and it worked alot better for me. But thats just my method of removing gel nails. Not a professional at all.

Hello again Vee, What's the difference between posable and non posable hand?

Poseable has wire in the fingers which allows you to move & bend the finger & them stay in the position you’ve moved them. Non poseable has only one shape to it & when moved they won’t stay once you let go it will bounce back to its originally pose.

As a stylist, it shouldn't matter what you're using to protect her nails, as we are required to wear protective gloves when using any type of chemicals in guests' hair. I have noticed that you will say that this particular client is a hair stylist whom you have to exercise particular care to protect her nails from exposure to the chemicals that we use in the salon; although as stylist, we have our own rules of engagement that we have to follow to guard against any number of exposure to chemicals and diseases when working with clients. Your client isn't any different. She has guidelines that she is required to adhere to for her own safety and that of her clients. Applying any form of chemical would require gloves in that service, so as a stylist myself, I guess I would ask that you stop implying that we are loose in the way we use chemicals and the safeguards that protect us and the clients we serve. OSHA IS A REAL THING IN BOTH THE NAIL AND HAIR INDUSTRY. I love your videos, talents, and abilities, but I just want to make it clear that hair stylist have a strict code of ethics to abide by too that necessarily requires we adhere to. Any chemical service requires that we handle them according to standard much in the same way that doing acrylic and gel nails do. So, you're not doing anything extra for this client that she is not required to require from you as a hair professional in the beauty industry... just sayin'

I know you talk for you videos but maybe use a mask sometimes for your own safety and your clients should also when not using your dust collector to be on the safe side.
