Teaching You To Trust SWOLE Survival Build | Dead Cells Viewer Build 5BC (5 Boss Cells)
The new season of viewer submitted Dead Cells full runs are here! I am playing on custom mode with only the requested weapons enabled. When necessary, we will activate colorless mode if the viewer requires it.
Dead Cells Update 21 has just been released, introducing lots of new shiny things to play with over the holidays along with some broader gameplay changes. There’s a TLDR and an overview below, and if you want to get the full detail head here for the patchnotes. Boom, everyone's attention span covered. TLDR: Colour scaling rework, Malaise rework, New mutations, New mob, weapon, outfits & diet, Backpack rework, Hand of the King lore room
Usual QoL fixes.
Dead Cells Update 20 brings a new biome to Dead Cells, an alternative to High Peak Castle. The Derelict Distillery is accessed through the Collector zone leading to High Peak Castle after either the Giant or Time Keeper.
Also introduces 2 new weapons, the Tesla Coil Turret and the Barrel Launcher weapon.
About the Dead Cells The Bad Seed:
Explore a relaxing Arboretum, wade through a noxious Swamp and take on a new boss in this new early game content designed to expand the Dead Cells universe and add variety to runs for people who want to support the development of the game.
So you’ll be able to play through:
The Arboretum: A relaxing and peaceful greenhouse inhabited by a peaceful clan of mushrooms, with an understandable desire to murder the Beheaded.
The Swamp: A noxious environment ruled by a band of tree dwelling mutans with pointy sticks, sneaky dart shooting frogmen and a bunch of deadly bloodsuckers.
The Heart of the Swamp: Domain of mama tick, if you’ve seen StarShip Troopers, you get the idea...
The two new levels and their monsters are alternatives to The Courtyard/Toxic Sewers and The Ramparts/Ossuary/Ancient Sewers, with the boss designed to be on par with The Concierge, so hopefully it’ll spice up your early game runs once you’ve played through the core game.

Just a 6, both weapons are lacking against HotK and Alchemist but victory is achievable (disgusted look at tentacle) unlike some others

What the heck, this is the exact same build I was rocking last night, when I ALMOST got my first 5 cell win (been inches away from beating it at least 5 times now lmao) except for the Rampart, I found a really good spiked shield instead.

It totally is but okay, ngl symmetrical Lance is pretty epic since legendary rework it demolishes anything as legendary since it does 300%+ damage without any drawbacks and Breaks shields, which is insanely OP against the Collector cuz you can knock Out the panacea while He Puts Up a shield to heal.

Tip: if you activate lore rooms and you find the mushroom boi bring him to the sacrificial altar and press his "violation of your soul" in front of the altar to completely skip mama tick Edit: this only works once

It's rumored that taking an off-color amulet at the start increases the amount of on-color 2 stat scrolls you'll find in the 2nd stage.

I always thought that with frost bite you do more damage to slowed/frozen targets. Apparently i was wrong.

It's just a Burn effect. We do already have damage on slow and frozen on weapons but I could see some other cool things like frozen hits don't unfreeze or frozen hits are charged and freeze the next!

I rarely see secrets in the walls or ground. I either miss them all the time are rarely get them. Are there more the higher boss cells you go or is it the same no matter which boss cell your on?
