இந்த படம் வந்த போது சென்னை இல் உள்ள ஆல்பர்ட் அபிராமி கமலா திரை அரங்கு கலில் வெளியானது படம் வெற்றி படம் அப்போது பெரும்பாலும் இந்த திரை அரங்கு களிள் தான் ரஜினி படங்கள் வெளியாகும் படம் ஆரம்பிக்க பூஜை போடும் போதே படம் திரை இட ஒப்பந்தம் போட்டு விடுவார்கள்

EXCEPT for the grand music (songs + score) of Maestro ILAYARAJA, nothing here is appreciation-worthy! Majority of 90s movies were as crass as the word could get. This is how RK was surviving post-Thalapathi, his LAST best performance. Imagine RK rejected "VandhaaL vandhaaL rajakumaari" tune, and IR gave him Malai koyil vaasalil instead, and RK also thought "Konji konji" was "slow" for his made-up "image"! The rejected song went on to become another hit! He rejected "Amma endrazhaikkaadha" too, and again Ilayaraja convinced him that it would boost his stardom amongst women, which turned out to be true eventually! RK's sense and sensibility with respect to music is anywhere between 1-10 on a scale of 100! Thank goodness, this was the LAST time a RK movie ever had great music, owing to his own ego!

Rahmaniac, this album is 100x BETTER than Muthu, Padaiyappaa, Baba, Sivaji, 2.0 put together! At least, DO some basic homework, before flaunting your ignorance. Konji konji and Malai koyilil were chartbusters back then (even now, they are oft-heard favorites), remained at number 1 spot across channels, AHEAD of the temporary storm hits! If you call "Konji konji", "Maadaththile", "Vaadi veththala" etc. are "below average", imagine what is the status of those temp storm 'hits' now!!
