I have natal Mars with Saturn 5degrees apart and my person has it also in reverse order, so that my Saturn exactly conjunct his Mars, and the same goes with his Saturn on my Mars... It's been only a month and it's already quite challenging indeed. But we have such a tense natals both of us, and very tense and interesting synastry and much more harmonious composite, so I am still curious to see where it goes.

Thanks! I have it in my first house (conjunction) in Scorpio. All you said is very true. I just went through my Saturn Return and it was tough but I learned a lot. You didn't mention anything about anger being unable to come out. I always thought this aspect had something to do with that. And yes, initiating anything is really dificult. It takes awhile. Going to the gym in the morning helps start the engine going. Have you thought of doing videos of planets conjuncting the Ascendant? I have Pluto there

Mars in Pisces (9th house) opposition Saturn in Virgo (3rd house). Not a competitive person as far as sports are concerned but love to exercise. I have felt a restriction of self expression since I was a child. I've also felt oppositions regarding my spiritual/philosophical points of view with family members. They are more dogmatic and religious & I'm more of a syncretist and universally aware of the similarities in religions/philosophies & cultures.

Your description is quite accurate as far as the type of life experience and effect a sixth house Aquarian Saturn/Sun conjunction opposite a Mars in Leo in the 12th has had on me. Grew up wit an abusive alcoholic father and a fairly religious, somewhat controlling mother. Not sure how much difference the Mars in the 12th makes, but it's definitely been a struggle at times. I studied hard in school and graduated class valedictorian, began working from an early and have done so my entire life. My hardworking mother set that example for me as did my aunts and first boss who was a woman. God has blessed me along the way too, but it sometimes takes being pushed to the extreme to really stand up for what I deserve and I haven't achieved all I'd like. The Sun/Saturn conjunction encourages me to not give up. Am thankful for that too.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure out this vibration for a while. The association I was trying to figure out was very close to the 8th house by just a couple degrees in one sign split into two houses (a mars saturn cusp conjunction all between scorpio and sagittarius), two fun contradictions in themselves, lol! Although cusps are involved, this energy is strong so thanks for clearing this one up! I appreciate it! I have this aspect in synastry. my Mars conjunct his Saturn and his mars my saturn. we quarrel all the time, nothing flows, aggression and difficulties. it's impossible to be together. BUT the passion is from other world and how we encourage one another. As if it wasn't enough, his Saturn is in AS conjunct SN, and my Mars conjunct NN. Explosive either ways. I've read that is a karmatic experience :-)

Hello Veerle, I can really relate to this, but at this point I am experiencing a lack of motivation and discipline when I know those things are what I need (Transit Saturn conjunct natal Mars, on cusp of 4 and 5 house). So I feel frustrated with myself. This is manifesting as a problem with working on my art. Also I am having transit Uranus opposing my natal Moon (about on cusp of 3 and 2 house). I have really been noticing this Uranus activity, which has now started to go through my 9 house (you probably have a video on Uranus too).

Veerle I've heard that Mars in hard aspect to Saturn is the most common aspect in marriages I believe something like 80% of marriages have this interaspect. For example Angelina and Brad (her Saturn and his Mars), Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton have this as well and a plethora of others Beyonce and Jay-Z, Will Smith and Jada Smith (DW) .That's not to say these relationships are easy but there seems to be a need to merge with this aspect. It seems to work like relationship glue merging the sexuality and drive of Mars and the drive and determination of Saturn. It seems most powerful with the hard aspects forcing each partner to face the issues that this aspect creates. I have this aspect (square) with someone and I'm the Saturn and though I don't think I can stand this person most of the time I do feel an unusual attraction to them that seems based on the need for me to stop them from being so rough around the edges (Saturn in Cap vs Mars in Aries). We also have Rahu (them) conjunct Venus(me), Venus/ Mars DW and Venus/ Pluto DWs.

Sat n Mars are two opossite Forces, will try to pull native on their side, Mars says let's do it now where as sat wants things in structure strategic planed way. Saturn tought native implication of being impetience, therefore there would be delay in action n results which cause frustration, mood swings, some cases depression. Things will not come easy but with hardship, I have seen people have miserable life with Sat mars conjunction. No matter how much they put efforts 50,% is the only granted. This conjunction cause native to disconnect from material, it forces native to believe material world is full of illusion and he should not attached with it otherwise he may suffer from prolong sadnesses.
