Holy shit some people in this comment section are ignorant. This is indeed high rated play from TBC, I can 100% guarantee it. The average player was just worse than a barrens plainstrider back in season 2. The warlock (and uploader) even went on to win Blizzcon with Zilea and Valrath as warrior/dk/hpala in wrath with his team "Teh Super Gosus", which is why the comp is called "TSG" in the first place.

ma jo no, he’s terrible.. look at the opponent in the first round (hard cast holy light twice with CoT and no CD used or attempt to fake). He also also devour magic on auto cast, so bad.. his teammate gets sheeped and he can’t anything cuz he doesn’t have a dispel macro

the good old days when warlocks were unstoppable during arenas. i also had a warlock arena partner on my rogue at the time. my internet connection went down that summer for like a month or 2. when i came back he was already decked out in arena gear.

Back in TBC wow times used to do mass pvp on Tarren Mill EU - Aid Somalia we had top rank among EU in PVP horde, by ratings / gear :D. I cant really remember top ally teams back in times, i guess horde had top 1-10 ranks 2v2 and 1-5ranks 3v3 ±. BTW you had only one action bar tab, i wonder how you can rush to 2k+ rating on retail with it .

@@SbkzorTV Do you notice that video proves that Smolderforge, deathside, warmane were all scripted incorrectly when it comes to devour magic. On private servers it will not use devour magic when its on auto cast if there is not buffs on the person. This video clearly shows the felhunter is supposed to spam purge even if there are no buffs on the target if its set on auto cast..... Fixing this on private servers would be a nice buff to disc priest and other classes who get destroyed by purges.... please help spread make TBC private servers notice and understand this

@@nicholasarsenian342 No it does not. This is from the time, where Detect Magic was nessecary to see enemy buffs. The Felhunter can not cast it if the target has no buffs. And it will only heal itself, if it actually devours a buff. The reason the FH keeps it on cooldown is: Hots. I played in Vanilla, TBC, Wotlk, Cata and Legion as a Warlock, and now: I play warlock again in classic.

Is unstable affliction spec viable in S1? Or does it become more viable with more resilience in later seasons as I suspect? SL/SL is good, but boring. UA lock is obviously viable haha, just when?

I get that arena was still new and undeveloped, but still have to constructively comment here: Death Coil usage wasn't really used at key moments. Being an instant cast 3 second CC with a 2-3 min cooldown, it should be better placed, either when going for a kill or for defense when you're taking it hard, not just a casual CC. That being said, I understand this is early arena and I get that arena wasn't as developed as it was in later seasons. Thanks for the upload regardless!

I was deeply into arena back in TBC - this must be a 1600ish rating at the end of TBC right? I remember people with shoulders and weapons being MUCH more skilled when rating were required for gear.

for real, I havent played wow since wrath, but this guy was on my server on Medivh and he was on the best 3v3 and 5v5 in the toughest battlegroup every season, they legit destroyed everyone, they had some druid named furioni or something that was ridiculous, I remember this video and being put onto all this music I'd never heard, stop the hating

People talk soo much about "skill level" Back then you didnt have almost any info on shit. You had to figure out everything by youself. Today you can ready everything and copy everything you ever think of. Soo dont talk of skill lvl when all of your skills came from some guide that some dude od girl posted on internet. I miss old days when you had to learn by youself and that joy. I remember spending hours in front of dummy testing and practicing dps and shit when you get new set of gear or little more haste and shit just to see what is better and to make it perfect. Today you just go on some site spend 10-20 min reading and gg you are "pro". And with addons that tell you everything on enemy team and bosses or rotation and shit. Dont talk shit .And sry for the bad eng:)
