Less echo and background noise! My air fryer is like my main cooking tool until I can get dishes 😂. I honestly think they should call it vegan "turkey" bacon because it reminds me a lot more of that. Good video :)

It's so interesting how the skillet version worked so well. I feel like the visual aspect of vegan bacon is the least of an issue when it comes to food products - certainly some people might consider not trying out vegan bacon for its looks, but once you've made the switch from eating animals, the texture and the taste are the superior aspects since we're literally just judging food rather than its visual presentation. I'm glad this satisfied some of your desires to eat bacon, having chosen to make the more ethical choice, I comment every once in a while, but I feel like here a compliment on your channel overall is in place - your KZbin content has been so enjoyable for a long time and whether it's the lockdown mental health, hanging out or trying food, videos all of it is wonderful and I wish you best of luck on this platform and in life in general.

Yeah it was so weird how it turned out so different! But yes I feel like the visual isn't too important as long as it isn't off-putting! I love how these vegan products help people realize that they can still go vegan and not miss out on anything! And oh my gosh that is so kind of you to say all of that! It makes me so happy to know that you are enjoying these videos! I really like making them and would love to be able to get to the point where I can focus on KZbin full time so I can really make a difference in the vegan community especially! This was awesome, Natalie! How funny that they were soooo very different between the two cooking methods. I've actually sprayed a bit of olive oil on things before putting them in my air fryer at times - that seems to help. Thanks for the review!! Happy Friday! I fried mine in a pan; first time I tried it tonite.......am very impressed! I cooked it on medium heat turning it up a bit towards the end.......cooked it for 4 minutes.......will definitely buy it again.

I soak it in liquid amino sauce and liquid smoke and pour paprika and flour on it. Then I spray it with oil and put it in the air fryer. Tastes delicious 😋

I bought LightLife to keep the oils to a minimum. I used my airfryer without added oil, and I really liked it. You just need to cook it longer than the video did.

Honestly I didn’t think of that! 🤔 that is possible! I think it would have gotten darker if I cooked it longer, but I’m not sure it would have changed the taste. It really seemed like the fact that the bacon sat in the olive oil in the skillet is what gave it the more bacon-y flavor! But it’s worth a shot if you want to try it!! And thank you!! 🤗🤗

This was so delicious you must cook it right! Vegan butter and cook it till crisp even a little black and OMG SO GOOD. I made a 'bacon' sandwich right away. If it doesn't taste good you didn't cook it right! I froze it too and pulled out when necessary I'm using this all the time now! LOVE THIS so much I want another 'bacon' sandwich right now LOL

You should have cooked it longer in the air fryer. My bacon comes out fine in about 7-10 minutes.

I kinda prefer the flavored vegan bacon. I forget the brands but more smoky ones. The look of these just turns me off.

Interesting, I don’t know of many other vegan bacon brands but I’ll have to look! I’m actually not a huge fan of “Smokey” foods but I’m sure other people enjoy that too! The look of these defiantly didn’t resemble bacon very well!

Try this bacon and cook it until crisp and it could fool me into thinking this is bacon. I missed bacon so much but they've made great strides and this product is awesome! I didn't like it cooked floppy I need to get more of this stuff ASAP!

You cooked it too long. It should be a bit flopsy. Maybe turn the heat down a bit and cook it less and it will be a bit floppier and not so crunchy. Also canola oil is best for frying because of it's low smoke point and neutral taste. If you burn olive oil that's cancer :o

I've been a vegetarian for more than 40 years so I really wanted to like this product just because its vegan and is trying to be a meat replacement. Which is a good thing. Nothing else about this product is. I threw it straight into the garage after opening the package and attempting to remove a "rasher' to put in the frying pan. It is impossible to get a whole piece of "bacon" as it is squished together so tightly, that it breaks into pieces. It smells terrible.It looks like a few soy hot dogs that were pressed flat and are now being sold as a bacon substitute. Truly awful. Not sure why you think it's good.
