As someone who isn't vegetarian even, tofu is great! You can use it to thicken up smoothies and add a light feeling protein to them!! But my fave is just pressing the water out then pan-frying them with sesame oil 😍

OK Caitlyn I actually made brownies with black beans before I went Vegan. It's a can of rinsed black beans blended smooth and mixed with brownie mix. When cooked they are so moist and fudgy! My very picky meat eating husband even loved them.

I love Ricky!!!! Always love cheat day and obviously it's hard for non-vegan people to adapt to vegan stuff because it's so different but I wish they did a better job with food selection. Much more interesting to watch when people love vegan food than when they hate on it (because the hate on it is an everyday thing for a vegan to hear). They have AMAZING fluffy vegan donuts in LA, shoutout Donut Friend, and delicious cheesecake recipes that aren't avocado (weird choice but i get that Cheat Day is weird choices but almost no vegans would choose that when they're craving cheesecake hahah and why so many puddings?.. there are so many better vegan desserts out there!

I went to a vegan restaurant with my best friend and I'm vegetarian but she's vegan. It's so funny, I bet if you didn't tell them it was vegan, they would immediately eat it and would probably like it. So many people are shut off by the idea of not eating a dead animal. It should be the other way around. There literally wasn't one thing they didn't make a negative comment about before eating it. EDIT: All I meant by this was that I wish people were more open minded and that food being "vegan" didn't turn people off. Tbh I feel like if you have money, it's fairly easy to be vegan in LA because they have so much good vegan stuff Also vegan cheesecake is so much better if you use vegan cream cheese (kitehill or tofutti or Trader Joe's, etc) and vegan butter (earth balance) instead of avocado There are plenty of good places bc no hate towards the chef but chefs that specialize in vegan food can make some good stuff
