Hi friends, since posting this video we've learned that Shakshuka originated in Tunisia, not Israel. Apologies for the confusion.

Wow - she just has the most AMAZING energy! Watching her cook, you just want to hang out in the kitchen and cook and talk and eat all day! And - I really love what she said about you don't have to feel passionately connected to someone to decide not to hurt them. So - guys - can you PLEASE let her know that your subbies really want her to look into starting a youtube channel?

Laughing - I actually ended up leaving her a message on her website telling her how much we would love her to start her own channel and the good news is that she said she is seriously considering it! Btw - I LOVE this channel. You two are a really lovely couple. My partner is "vegan at home" - which is pretty much 90% of the time. Every now and then she will go out for lunch with co-workers and she will have a non vegan option. Even then though - her coworkers know she eats a predominantly vegan diet so - that :)

Hi! I’m SO EXCITED to find this video! Just so you know, I happened upon Ori and her TedX talk And then googled her blog; from there, I saw the link to this dish and it looked familiar-last year, I went to the house of a good acquaintance from Iran for a Birthday party and this dish was made! They were so gracious to make everything else vegan so I could enjoy everything, but they also wanted to share this traditional dish with everyone else, and it had eggs on top. Recently, that family has been moved by the things I’ve shared with them about going vegan, And told me they are going to try! I want to share this video with them and show them how fun this life can be! Thank you so much!

There is an Indian salt that is called ”black salt.” (It also has an Indian name.) it is supposed to taste like egg. This salt can be bought in international groceries and Indian groceries. It is supposed to lose its flavor when heated. (I have never tried it.) So I’m thinking you can salt the corn ”eggs” before serving. Worth a try.

Liz is on that journey and you can see how she's inching her way towards more plant based foods and that's that. You can't be mad at someone for not getting it just because they didn't get it at the same rate that you did.

god, that was awkward, especially when she asked her about why she was not vegan. She really laid it on heavy with the guilt and shame tactic.self righteous cow. That felt so uncomfortable on so many levels, especially when she tried to have that girly chat with her, yuk, that was awful, although I must say I do find it really hard to understand why she is not a vegan when she is with someone who is so passionate about it and is exposed to all the knowledge and arguments. She must really like the taste of meat.
