I tried durian for the first time recently, and it was like an onion and mango combined - not too nice, in my opinion!

Oh this is a really good description! I've had durian two times now and I noticed they were completely different so I'm sure there are different types, some tastes less like onions than others. You must have had a very oniony type then. 😅 I'm not a fan too!
