Keep in mind that the cooked vegetables could also be the foundation of a tomato sauce if you wish to make this recipe with pasta. Another thing, the same procedure as is shown with rice can be done with orzo pasta instead, if you're frightened that you may mess it up when cooking the rice; orzo is friendlier to amateur cooks than rice, it's actually what I cooked today since my father bought so many vegetables from the market. Delicious and certainly a summer recipe worth making. Cheers :D.
