You guys are touching on exactly why I'm more MGM than Caesars. I used to run a bunch of hotels and I know for a fact that the only reason Caesar's charges the early check-in fee is purely to gut guests on a technicality. If the room is ready there is no reason to not go ahead and check you in

Yes! We have never had to pay an early check-in fee at any MGM properties...especially when the room is ready!

That view from your Paris/Horseshoe room was amazing! We would love that view, but how annoying that they charge an early check-in fee even when the room is ready and just sitting there empty! Don’t like that at all. We love Javier’s and the Aria in general, and you’re not kidding about that salsa. I (Jon) love spicy food, but that was a bit intense. Haven’t played Cashman yet - or any airport slots - but might have to give both a try. And Petrossian … another of our favorites. Really great vlog and series. We’re so happy we got to meet and hang out a bit at Fontainebleau! Can’t wait to see you both in Vegas again soon!

This is why we avoid Caesars properties like the plague … 🤣. MGM makes it sooo easy to mobile check in… print key and hit the room. Glad y’all met Mike Brown and Sarah Brown 🤗🤗. Javiers is amazing but it’s a resort credit dinner for us #Frugal 😉. I used to play that Double Diamond deluxe with cheese over 20 years ago!! What a relic of a game💜💜. Gonna start calling you Single Line Dave !! Incredible back to back wins 🤘🤘…. Bummed y’all skipped Mad Apple … we had such a great experience and time there….. but there is always next time 🤘. A friend of ours had the same exp w/the rm in Paris in the new tower. It looks nice, but a trek to get there. Great wins overall and in Horseshoe! I've heard the old school $2 max machines are less volatile, I did hit my 1st (and only) handpay on one of the old school machines. Good to know they are there. Thanks for the great videos! Hi D&S - Caesars Entertainment are so "nickel & dime" oriented - such A##holes for not letting you in early. Hope the room change from Palazzo to Paris wasn't too much of a let-down. We've eaten at Javier's before - they have decent food but we agree that it's too expensive for what you get and it is way too loud in there. We have found great Mexican food at Mi Casa at Silverton a little south on the strip - ask for waiter Alex - he's the best!!! Dave, you were killing it!!!! Congrats on the great old school slot machine hits. Cheers guys!!!! 😎🍻

Ooo we might have to check out Silverton now! The room at Paris wasn’t bad and we did get to stay in the new Versailles tower, but it’s hard to compare to Palazzo! We were surprised we couldn’t get our room early unless we paid the early check-in. Never had that issue at other properties.. Yes, Sonia killed it the entire trip..I was just glad to finally have a couple decent hit! 🥂🎰❤️

The walk to get to your room was so long but the view you had made it worth it😀 Love Javiers margaritas and the food usually get some kind of combination so it includesthe rice & beans lol ( prices have gone up there I noticed right before the F1 and probably stayed for the SB) You both had some really good wins! The Horseshoe location paid off! Congrats, we are still waiting for a hand pay after 20+ LV trips 😥 The walkway will make it less of a hassle to your room. I was booked for Paris in May but recently swapped it for an Alaska cruise mid May! Then Park MGM in Oct.....for the hand pay!

We have a Javiers here in San Diego. It's in La Jolla by the University in a really cool outdoor mall that also has a skating rink and dog park. Check it out when you're in town. I always enjoy my visits to San Antonio. Great food in that town.

The weather cooperated and we were able to leave on Wednesday afternoon. We had a really nice extra day (this type of thing is when free rooms *really* come in handy), so no complaints from me! Hope our paths cross again on a future trip!

Nice hit! Its been a year since Ive won anything substantial. Wife loves the old school reel slots, and searches the casino for those first. Ive kind of had the itch to go and a I usually go in March with the boys. But needing some medical stuff done and just paid daughters tuition for college. So priorities before fun. Hopefully in June with the wife is next trip. I was wondering how they were handling the "New" Paris tower. That seems a bit inconvenient for check ins and getting to your room. But Happy B Day! It looks like it was a fun bday trip.

There was a high end restaurant in Dallas called Javier’s and Javier the owner was always there. It had a private cigar lounge and I believe he was a big game hunter. We would go there to dine during Dallas Safari Clubs convention. Is the Javier’s you went to possibly owned by the same person? Awesome series Dave and Sonia. Thank you for the content.♥️

@@DaverrasonTravels Thanks so much, we are taking our 30 ish year old kids and their wives for a few days Memorial Day week. We are staying the entire week at Vdara but were able to get our kids one comp room each Monday ( Memorial day) to Thursday at Paris in a Versailles pool/strip view room so now we know what room ( or atl least room in that area) to ask for. Added bonus we are both Diamond via the Wyndham match so both Paris rooms are free for 3 nights. While I'm a beer drinker my wife LOVES the fancy drinks you guys get playing VP at the bar. Can she order drinks like that comped while playing slots or only at the VP bars ? We love the channel, you guys Vegas just like we do except I bet a lot of sports, lol. Thanks

@@MB-rr1fb That is going to be an amazing family trip! Some casinos offer fancy drinks while on the casino floor - Cosmo and Wynn are two that we know. Might not be all of the drinks on the menu, but some of the cmmon ones are available - Lemon Drop, Lychee, Espresso martini or a Cosmo at the Cosmo. Resorts World has the best options at Crystal Bar and there you can order off of the menu while playing! Hope y'all have a blast!

We just stayed at the Linq last week, and thank god we didn't pay for the early check-in because the room was ready within 15 minutes of check-in 😅

Yea, if the room is ready I wish they would waive it. I can understand if you WANT to check-in early you pay a fee to do so, but not assess "early check-in" fees when other resorts do not.
