We only go down on the main strip when family, friends visit. Most visitors don’t know the original part of Vegas (Fremont) is much cheaper for food, drinks and even free live entertainment - I prefer Fremont any day over the main strip.

OMG that timeshare part. Tim, we used to live in LA and this shiz was EVERYWHERE for Kings/Lakers tickets pre-RIP Kobe. My wife decided "lets go, I'll unload on them", we sat through the 20 minute video presentation, and the minute we met individually with the salesperson she went "THIS IS A SCAM, NO ONE GETS VALUE FROM THIS" etc, just drawing out Karen from Karenkind, which is MASSIVELY out of character. She would eat a big mac when she ordered mcnuggets and be like "mistakes happen". Guess who got out of there in 25 minutes with Lakers tickets. You gotta be an asshole and you'll get the free stuff. They don't have shame, neither should you.

The $150 hold was something the Stardust was doing years ago. I literally had to jump on my father a few years ago in our room at Mirage when he opened the mini bar. I had to explain what was really happening. I always tell the Feather Girls I’m trying to decide what I want for lunch (which is true). $25 for a chicken sandwich, fries and a soda in T-Mobil. I’ve seen people carrying babies only a few weeks old on The Strip. Gotta go downtown for cheaper blackjack tables.

You are right on. Vegas is my happy place. Over 80 visits since 1977. Took a pandemic for me to miss a year from New Jersey. Value days are long gone, but compared to other cities still fairly reasonable. Helps to know how to save some $ so you have more to spend on something that means something to you. Personally I love my pool time, shows and headliners in beautiful theaters, people watching, and gamble some. Your videos are great and informative. Thank you.

My already drunk friend opened the fridge and took out a tiny liquor bottle to laugh about how overpriced it probably was, and put it back. During checkout, I see an extra $75 charge for the tiny 2 sip bottle! I'm like whoa whoa, go upstairs and check, it's still there. So they refunded it at least lol

I'm from Canada and they did the same to me security deposit to hold and resort fee. But when put US dollars on a Canadian card it 40% more they had my card maxed out. So make sure your ready.

We stayed at the Venetian and we paid in cash, and it was just a one time payment of $150 for accidentals they gave us our money back after we left because I called and ask them about paying it in cash because I did not want no other holds besides that we pay the resort fees off my card that was it

I hate the incidental holds and resort fees but it is what it is. I learned to charge food to my room in order to take advantage of that incidental hold. Also you can bring your own liquor as long as it’s in plastic bottles. I’m talking about in your check bags. But yeah, Vegas will scam that ass. I love this video. I use to live in Vegas in the mid 1990's. Back then several Buffet's were $12-$20 and at the Riveria a quick snack/lunch was 75 cents for a foot long hot dog 🌭 and 25 cents for chili and 25 cents for onions. So $1.25 for big snack back in the day. Today restaurant wise ANYTHING on lunch menu for less than $7.00 and three cocktails less than $15.00
