Hi Shin, long time no see! Watching you eat all that succulent Chinese food made me hungrily envious (minus the gelatinous oyster)! 😋 Also, I find it kind of funny how the meat carver had so eloquently covered the head of the Peking Duck as he carved it. I’ve been living in Asia for a while and never saw somebody prepare it like that. It makes sense though since it’d probably freak some Western guests out...perhaps they’d cover a pig’s head while they carved the meat as well, lol.

This Resorts buffet and it's selections, is too small and it looks like Mr. Shin had everythin' that it had to offer! As for me.. the Wynn has an Outstanding limited-time Dim Sum -Buffet for Chinese New Year, which is separate from their daily buffet which is definitely #1 for my taste!🙂

A lot of the food looks pretty good. I would go for the duck and the seafood except the oysters (not a fan of oysters). For the price they offer, I would pay the few extra dollars and go to the Wynn buffet for more food options.

Both were very good. I'd say my duck at Wing Lei edged out Genting Palace but I like the butterfly rolls at Genting a bit more. They also had the different hoisin sauces at Wing Lei so that was a nice touch. But ultimately I'd go in heavily on either. Thanks for watching!

Wing Lei Dim Sum Brunch sadly is $128.88 now. It does not include Alcohol but the dim sum is still superior. If you fancy, lobster and dessert in addition to your crab legs, I would say try to get a reservation there (via host only right now). However, based on this video, the Peking duck here looks like great value.

That's the question right? Peking duck is really expensive so just a couple servings of that will make up a lot of the cost. The crab legs, prawns, and the pork make up the rest so I think it's easy to get your money's worth. But it comes down to do you want to eat a ton of premium items or a big variety of dishes? For the price, the buffet lacks variety and premium proteins. BTW, those scallops come frozen and just thawed for service. Oysters are suspect as well. You can order frozen, shucked oysters from your vendors such as Sysco.

Definitely caters to a specific clientele, mainland Chinese folks. They'll stuff themselves on the crab legs and duck to get their money's worth and nibble on the rest. Those oysters were sus from this side of the screen. The majority of that buffet was pretty pedestrian. Oh how the mighty have fallen, once billed as the best Chinese restaurant in the states with prices to match, its pretty obvious that concept failed. They had an extremely rough opening and the only great things I heard after that were from Genting inc itself. Q- Shin did you ever see the raw chicken served to Derek and Katherine opening week (aycv)? it was a shame and the way it was handled was worse. I do dream about that abalone menu, is that still in place?

Hi Shin. Always enjoy your buffet videos. I have to say this place looked mediocre especially for 68 dollars+. Limited selection, food not looking fresh (your comment about the questionable oyster for example) and really small portions in the buffet serving dishes which look stingy. You also did videos on Buffet @ Asia and Krazy Buffet - those places looked much better (more selection, food looked hotter and fresher and replenished more often, full buffet serving dishes etc) at a fraction of the price.

I paid my way but I can't speak for others. As to your point about it can't be a coincidence, I mean, it's the newest buffet in Vegas. Why wouldn't all the Vegas KZbinrs be posting about it? It's just what's new so channels want to cover it. Nowadays, the quickest way to spot a comp is to notice how many other influencers are in the background of the video. Hotels do not go around comping individual influencers much. They host a one time influencer event and get it all done in one go.
