One thing that would improve this system more is if they went the way deusenberg went with their vibrato arm. In that it can be adjusted length wise.

Thanksalot for this! Been looking at the Dakota Red Squier 40th Anniversary Tele to mod up a bit and this looks ideal. I'm not dive-bombing but I do like having the stock Strat Trem and adding this to the Tele makes a lot of sense to me. Cheers!

Do I have to Loosen the screws in the back to really make it move? Like in the Video? Just installed one but mine won't pivot back and fourth like yours. Open to suggestions. Thanks again.

I preordered the VT2nd, can’t wait to try it out.

My pre-order shipped and just arrived yesterday! The journey begins. Going to install it myself, but if I need any help with final action and intonation adjustments I have a great shop nearby that can do that.

how did you guys go? do the springs stretch over time and cause it to go flat?@@glendoggett9670

Buy a piece of stainless rod in same diameter and use a die to thread both ends and place a 90* degree bend in it and presto you have a Whammy just the perfect Size, then all you need to do is adapt a tip and the Receiver for bar you already have, that or cut off the vt and place it in a vise and straighten it out

I just hope the VT2ND fits my sire T7.

Hello Darrell, have the VT2, I love the bridge VT2, it keeps the guitar super in tune, I noticed that the sound also gained more shine. A single point is that the VT2 lever is more rigid. In other words, to use the lever, much more force is applied than in the tremolos, traditional. Do you feel it in your telecaster? Is there any way to adjust the springs to improve this relation?
@jtcedwards Жыл бұрын
Only way I found to ease the amount of pressure you need to apply is to loosen the nuts retaining the springs on the back of the guitar. But, and a big but, you lose tuning stability. One thing that will help is if you ream the top edge of the holes the strings run through that the springs now run through.

When will this be available for purchase? Website just says coming soon

Not worth the money. I bought the first iteration and it is an incredibly stiff vibrato. Also their customer service is not good. To get the system to perform somewhat well, quite a bit of modification had to be done. I recommend you shy away.

How much weight does it add to the guitar?

It adds up a bit but not a significant amount of weight.

Maybe not needed on an official Fender body(?)

It will vary from body to body. Also it is just to slightly clean the bores, not really "drilling".
