Ever since frieza they changed how Vegeta fights. Instead of being smart and assessing his opponents to counter them, he just charges in at full speed and loses immediately just so golden boy goku can look good. They also have the main enemy hold back against goku but never against Vegeta.

After namek: - He uses both his intellect and strength to handle android 19 handedly. He didn't just "rush in" After golden frieza: - Both he and goku realizes golden frieza's issues with his form. Neither had to say anything to see that. He only "lost" because no one expected frieza to be such a sore loser. - Hit is hardly even an instance of him just "charging in" either. He was caught off guard by an ability that was impossible to predict by just looking at him. Goku clearly has an upper hand compared to vegeta in this since he got to see vegeta fight hit first. - He also literally does better against jiren in his first fight against him than goku did with kaioken and the spirit bomb. He analyzes jiren's moves and lands a clean hit on him. His final flash also catches jiren off guard. "Golden boy" goku isn't even a thing in this arc. Vegeta literally saves his ass from moro. The arc doesn't wrap up because of UI either. Without vegeta's new technique, moro would have literally won against goku. No vegeta = no energy transfer = Goku doesn't have enough god ki to keep up UI.

I can see why the word 'literally' is thrown about so often, and so incorrectly, these days. Because people lack critical thinking and are far too literal. Android 19, he uses his superior strength and bluffs him. Basically he just acts like cocky Vegeta. Against hit, he rushed in overconfidently and at no point in the fight did he take a step back to change his tactics. He just thought using strength would win. He learns nothing even after the fight unlike golden boy. He was caught off guard but never changed his tactics. Golden boy wouldn't have done that. Golden frieza he was just stronger. He didn't need to adapt at all and what happened? He lost. He does well against jiren by dodging his flurry of punches. Then what does he do? Jiren has the upper hand and Vegeta only puts up a fight when backing golden boy Goku. What did he do against cell when cell was stronger? Just relied on strength, trained to be stronger, not how to use his energy like golden boy. We are watching the manga here, don't think Vegeta will do as well in the anime. Don't forget, as soon as Moro is stronger what happens? Vegeta doesn't adapt and it's taken down easily. Same old tired story. Vegeta's role in db is to charge in and lose immediately so the audience can see how strong the villain is, so the audience has an idea of just how much more powerful Goku was and more he become with his inevitable new form.

I will be honest, say they adapt this into the anime, I want them to change a few things, and this right here, have Moro's body be lik it is, but still have a goat face, but just a shorter goat face like goats at farms where he has a small head and small nose and instead of Ram-like horns that twist around to curve forward he just has shorter, regular goat horns where they just curve up and back and they are a little thinner and lengthy, not as big as the Ram horns that Moro had, and he still has the crystal in the middle of his forehead, and he would look like Baphumet, however that is spelled, the goat headed man mythological being, where he has that humaniod body that stands upright, with fur on his sholders and elbows and around his waist like Broly with Baa's ear, and all of that, and he has the goat head and is less like the Cell comparisons that they make of him.

I would've been satisfied if the arc ended after this fight. Not because Vegeta was once again denied a W again (although that is part of the reason too) but it's mostly because of the mistake Goku makes later on. I like the buildup of Moro preparing for Goku and Vegeta when he sensed Vegeta on Yardrat, but it was like... Ok that he had a backup plan inside of 7-3, but I wanted something more, like because Moro knows that Vegeta was on Yardrat, that means that Yardrat was around in Moro's time, 10 million years ago, and so for Moro to know about that they could have made it to where he knows about it because he has techniques from Yardrat, either all or some, and he knows about the Yardrats and their techniques so he plans for any of Vegeta's new techniques and Moro knows how to avoid all of the techniques that Vegeta has learned, but they didn't do something like that. It is still cool to see Vegeta getting the upper hand on Moro and beating the sh!t out of him.

When Vegeta removed the life energy that Moro absorbed and sent them back to their planets and it showed the Namekians being revived and Esca making the explanation that the Namekian Dragon Balls protected everyone and the planet from rotting away, it is cheap and doesn't really make sense, I know, but in the beginning when Moro abaorbed New Planet Namek Esca was in the ship with Jaco and the other Galactic Patrol members, Esca said that before the elder died he passed his responsibility to Esca and that Esca is Namek's future, that means that Esca is the new elder and that when Cranberry killed the elder that is why the Namekian Dragon Balls still worked, because it was due to Esca and the title of Elder passed down. Now, because Esca is the new elder, then that means that the Namekian Dragon Balls will still work withing 4 months, and they are still active, so maybe that was what he meant when he said that the Namekian Dragon Balls kept everyone and everything from rotting away, but it also meant that they could have gone back to New Namek and gotten the Namekian Dragon Balls as a backup plan aside from the Earth Dragon Balls.

I can’t stand how dumb they make Goku in Super. To say he hasn’t changed a bit just idiotic. The Goku that showed up on Namek all the way through the Goku that fought Buu is a totally different character. He doesn’t even understand meditation in super 🤦🏽‍♂️. Rip Toriyama, but I have always been disappointed with how poorly he utilizes Vegeta when it comes to finishing his main opponents, and winning against them. Hopefully, now that Toyotaro calls the shots, hopefully he might turn things around a bit in this regard. There have been more than one dbs super animanga arcs which were progressing positively, but as soon as Vegeta gets a powerup, then dominates his main opponent, only to lose to some bs, the arc progresses downhill, and I am sure that most of the db community agrees with this.

Vegeta saying that he is a villain, a lot of people will be upset about that and say that he is not a villain, and all of that, but to be honest I am fine with this, because this feels like Vegeta. If Vegeta did die and say that King Yama gave him the ability to go to heaven I don't think that he would take it. I feel like Vegeta would ask to go to hell, like, Vegeta: "No I don't want to go to heaven. Jistbput me in hell where I can be with the rest of the Saiyans and beat up Frieza and everyone else all day." Something like that because with what Piccolo said and Vegeta's growth Vegeta cannot see himself as a hero or part of the Z-Fighters, he is, but he doesn't see himself that way. So I feel like this this is consistent with Vegeta's character.
