They took the strength feat from Omni man as the feat of him destroying a planet, but they ignored several important parts 1: Omni Man couldn’t destroy the planet alone, he needed 2 other vitrumites to destroy the planet. 2: The planet had been weakened previously by a special space gun designed to make the planet easier to destroy. 3: Even with all these extra factors, the 3 viltrumites had to hit a super specific spot to make sure the planet actually exploded. Compare that to Bardock, who is almost as strong as King Vegeta. King Vegeta destroyed 3 planets with just a wave, meaning him trying could potentially do much more. Add on the 10x multiplier from Great Ape or the 50x Multiplier from Super Saiyan and there is ABSOLUTELY zero chance that Omni Man is stronger than Bardock. TLDR, Omni Man had his strength greatly overestimated, Bardock should’ve won.

If time travel was a regular part of his kit, then flashpoint wouldn't happen, anything with Booster Gold wouldn't happen, the end of Apokalypse War wouldn't be necessary, and no one would be able to press green lanterns or any lantern corp at all if every lantern is capable of what Death Battles composite Jal is able to do.

For example when Omni Man blew up that planet he needed help from two other viltrumites. Meanwhile even in OG dragon ball Roshi was blowing up the moon. Bardock in base should at least scale to King Vegeta when he blew up three plants with a flick of his hand hell I would even say Bardock in base you could argue is slightly below slightly below. It's so funny as hell when they did do the breakdown they didn't even mention anything about the fact of how Omni man didn't really destroy his planet at all by himself. As they shown to others that are with him especially the fact that they said that they had a super weapon that was able to kill planets and the utilize that first as their first phase of to destroy their Homeworld. Originally in the comics, that was their whole main plan until that didn't work, and they just went for a plan B.

It’s almost like the accusations of Anti Dragon Ball bias come from a place of anger because the outcome didn’t go their way. I have my issues with the Omi-Man vs. Bardock fight myself, but most of that is relegated to weird conclusions in research than anything really. I take issue with a lot of the Bardock research like Namek being in another quadrant of the Universe; if this is true: the universe of Dragon Ball would be very small then by such a statement since Namek is likely anywhere from 36 to 48 lightyears away based off of a rough calculation from various information pieces from the manga, to emphasize this: the Milky Way alone is 100,000 lightyears, so the diagram cannot be 100% accurate to scale or positioning; it makes no sense otherwise based on their logic. Another being the idea that Bardock is 10,000 in terms of power level and scales to King Vegeta, not only could I not find any official sources that prove Death Battle’s reasoning behind it; in fact I found evidence suggesting otherwise from the Original Bardock Special that says it was “Close to 10,000”, even if we assuming it basically is the whole statement feels very off. First off this is heavily contradicting what Death Battle mentioned throughout most of their Dragon Ball related videos that they don’t really care much about Power Levels because they are plot device first and foremost which is fair but they still have a purpose but here it seems like they did it as a mercy thing but it hurts their credibility because they are applying different rules to different fights, which is odd to suddenly start caring about power levels. Plus if Bardock was on part with King Vegeta who can destroy a Planetary System effortlessly (The video in question is more like a planet with multiple moons, I can accept him being Multi-Planet regardless for the sake of making my point) then you run into two problems: 1. Bardock’s status as a Low Class Saiyan was merely an enforcement tactic to keep Bardock’s Bloodline down which most likely means he wasn’t 10,000. Or 2. The Suggested idea of 10,000 PL needed to blow up a planet is wrong. And personally while I doubt Bardock is a 10,000 PL Saiyan on par with King Vegeta; I am leaning more towards 2. Because we have seen weaker characters pull off Moon level feats which is not far off from Planetary level to begin with. The idea that Namek Saga Characters or characters near or at 10,000 PL were Massively FTL because of that one Kamehameha feat from the filler episode just feels wrong in every capacity and based off of reasonable but incorrect assumptions. Any object moving in space towards each other at massive speeds can cross and pass each other through vast distances that say asteroids passing by a starship at FTL speeds can make one look like they are traversing FTL speeds because in space; anything from 1 km can close to literally 1 cm in less than a second; this is also assuming the Capsule Corp ship isn’t also affecting spacetime around it which is very possible. I feel like they tried to justify the speed thing here because they wanted to add at least one more stat Bardock wins out on to soften the blow of their results to Dragon Ball fans but it is clear it didn’t work for a variety of reasons. But enough about that’s let get into Omni-Man. First off I never understood why everyone, including Death Battle shows that Viltrum busting feat where he flies through the planet and destroys it with Mark and Thadeus. Granted later down the line we can see Mark doing that kind of thing in the comics on his own later on but the problem is we rarely have any impressive Omni-Man feats, in fact much like Dragon Ball, things have to be inferred but generally speaking Omni-Man scratches up to Planet Level at most based off him at least being able to physically overpower Mark. But that’s just based on scaling rather than actual things I can point to. The best comparison is the Thragg fight I guess where he was able to hold his own with a small planet buster but Death Battle refuses to bring it up for spoiler reasons and it is annoying. If you managed to read through all this, my takeaway is this: Base Bardock loses in a really tough and drawn out fight against Omni-Man, but if Super Saiyan stuff is allowed in from the Episode of Bardock, then that should be Bardock taking the Victory. Add in Xenoverse stuff and Bardock roflstomps lmao

The scaling they used for Omni-Man’s strength feat was bullshit on two accounts (as someone who has read the comics). 1. Destroying the Solar Disk (their reasoning for Star-Level Omni-Man) was done by something that was only *stated* to not hurt Viltrumites, which we never see said weapon used on one, let alone Nolan. 2. The Planet Viltrum feat not only required Mark, Nolan, and Conquest to have exact timing or they’d splatter on impact (per Conquest’s own statement about how durable Viltrum is to have survived as many Viltrumites fighting on for centuries), but it also required the help of another character, Space Racer, firing a laser that was shown to harm Viltrumites at the core, meaning that it’s not a feat Nolan can pull on his own anyway. That would be like if they gave Vegeta SSJ4 against Shadow back in the day when that form requires outside help to even turn into. Now, they gave Omni-Man experience and endurance (2000+ years old to Bardock’s 30 years and Bardock’s limited Ki and the stamina drain of an unmastered Super Saiyan compared to Nolan holding his breath for a solid week in space while flying to another galaxy) and gave Bardock speed and versatility (scaling to Goku’s flight to Namek and fending off the meteor storm atop the ship for base Bardock and Bardock’s greater variety of attacks and the transformations), but if they hadn’t wanked Omni-Man’s strength feat and rightfully given strength to Bardock, the Father of Goku really wouldn’t even need beyond Great Ape to win, with Super Saiyan being overkill.
