The androids were never stronger than Goku here so Dr Gero is ignorant for assuming that Goku wasn’t a threat, just because Goku was dying to a heart virus mid battle doesn’t mean they’re stronger than him… how foolish lol. Also Vegeta reached super saiyan at the power level of 200mil and he was watching Goku fight with Android 19 so Vegeta has an advantage over them by a lot. Especially since he knows they can absorb energy with their hands.

It was one of the best moments in dbz history, and one of the few times Vegeta actually saved Goku. If Vegeta hadn't stepped in, all the Z Fighters would have been destroyed. And I know Yamcha gets a lot crap by the fan base, but he's a really good friend. He realized that he'd be in the way and his limitations he's a liability at this point . However, there he was taking Goku back, making sure he got the medicine, and then he lost the person he cared about. in Bulma, and it's bad enough that she hooked up with the guy who was once responsible for killing him and their friends. Can't wait for you guys to watch history of Trunks. And when it comes to battle Vegeta is very smart and also full of himself.

The way Vegeta actually gianed the SSJ buff is basically how TFS made it. He cried and begged to be a super saiyan. Vegeta is still one of my all time anime heroes but when it came to him achieving SSJ what he seemingly was cry n beg to be a super saiyan. N the OG Broly movie made him such a bitch ud think he couldn’t even go SSJ but no Broly was so sick the prince bowed down n tucked his stuff in cause Broly is that much of a badass anime villain

After rewatching DBZ, I noticed Vegeta gave up his pride to turn Super Saiyan, and Goku gave up his innocence. It was the first time Goku decided to kill, even though he didn't in the end.

Since the start of Z, from the arrival of Raditz to that moment, the entire show was about characters trying to make him give up his innocence and embrace his darker Saiyan nature. And then at the end, they won. That is why he looks sad after he kills Freeza.
