Our playgroup students recently enjoyed a vegetable market day at school, when they dramatized a market corner. The activity was a pretend play for the children as they became the vegetable vendors and used fake money for transaction. The classroom was decorated with colourful cut outs of paper vegetables. There were real vegetables kept in the baskets that many children identified. Our little learners enjoyed the day by singing rhymes and eating salad. They were really happy to take the paper carrots back home.
