I have one of them, they are sharp as fuck. I use the peel to decorate the plate when guests come over. Tastes really nice cooked as well as looking cool. Edit: After watching the video it appears Mike really knows nothing about cooking, it's not made to sharpen the carrot it's use is to make your meals look fancy and it works very well.

Carl Salisbury Peas are so small so it is maybe easier to use a normal pencil sharpener. Also it is easier to freeze the peas first and then sharpen them...

I could use this...My family always complains that when I skin the vegetables with a knife, that I'm doing it wrong. :( EDIT: Well, maybe not THIS, but my parents do have a potato peeler that I'm better at with than a knife...

Its for making salad(or whatever else) decorations. You are supposed to make a long strand of it, and put it as decoration. Many fancy restaurants do similar things with cucumber and stuff to put it on top of steak or potato. It's otherwise pretty useless, but it does what it say's it does.
