My childhood movie. Skip to now and I'm 12 years old coming back to the same movie and what I find insane is the accuracy of how they animate the Indy 500. As someone who watches a lot of NASCAR, when I rewatched this movie it blew my mind. What a great movie.

Man, this was one of my favorite childhood movies and still is, and looking back in it, it surprised me how they were able to accurately portray the Indy 500 like NASCAR (I watched a few races before, so I know just enough about it to see how it’s done.)

Mistake: When 2 cars were going into the pit stop, Gaģne was coming in as well and stopped at his pit. However, a few seconds later, he's seen coming into the pit stop again Edit: At 0:44, a car behind Turbo's right was green, black and white, but at 0:52, the car changed color to red and yellow And there are other mistakes in the race scenes, but I'm not gonna point them all out.

This was my childhood, I honestly think the movie plot is weird, but the movie itself isn't extremely horrible, definitely horrible at some people's standards, but it's an okay movie in my opinion, not one of the best, not one of the alright movies, it's just okay but near horrible at times.

What do you mean near horrible? I thought this was the best animated movie in 2013. It's about a snail going faster than _any other_ real snail that are slow. And the addition of it being cool and hip was pretty well handled to be honest. People are being way to serious over this movie, and that's why I hate people like Schaffrillas, who judges too much on cool movies like Turbo, but still talks about Shark Tale non-stop. I mean, it's a fictional world where a snail goes fast as opposed to a slow snail. If Turbo was still slow, it would be boring. Lmao.

Couldn't Turbo just not pit (since he's a snail and doesn't require fuel nor tires) the whole race, lap everyone during pit stops, and just win that way? I don't know why he didn't choose to do that (I know this is a movie and logic doesn't matter but It kind of irks me lmao :P)

I think Turbo is just a racing nerd. That and he’s still a biological being, same with every driver. Perhaps his mutation makes him require more food in order to keep functioning, this requiring pitstops. Then again that isn’t explicitly mentioned in the movie or shown, and its just a personal headcanon I just made up.
