I remember having a copy of this episode on VHS when I was a kid, and this was one of the very few episodes of Veggie Tales I remember seeing. Overall, that was a good review.

I do have a question once you get done Finishing reviewing all the veggie tales episodes Are you? Going to be doing a ranking on all of them from worst to best And would you do it in the tier list style.

Whoa. Wasn't expecting this to be your first negative VeggieTales episode review. I guess I can understand why you might find Madame Blueberry whiny and annoying, but I personally don't. I also understand your criticisms of Bob and Larry not really having any impact on the story, but I personally don't mind it, and I honestly didn't even notice that till you pointed it out. Though your idea of Madame Blueberry giving everything she bought at the Stuffmart to Annie (her name's Annie, not Mary) was an interesting alternate ending. Mike Nawrocki based the ending off the ending of How the Grinch Stole Christmas--where the main character has a change of heart and comes around, but notices that something (the sleigh full of Christmas presents in the Grinch's case and the treehouse in Madame Blueberry's case) is about to fall. Unlike the Grinch though, Madame Blueberry wasn't successful at stopping it before it fell off. Also, BTW, 3 songs from Madame Blueberry did make The End of Silliness--The Stuffmart Rap, The Thankfulness Song and His Cheeseburger. That's another mistake you made.

@@ThatMediaGuy150 These videos are really cool. I might make similar videos when I review every episode of Clifford the Big Red Dog reviewed. I made a couple of test videos on my channel, kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmTMk2d6br-MgNU This was inspired by PieguyRulz's SpongeBob reviews, and your VeggieTales reviews.

@@ThatMediaGuy150 I really enjoyed watching your reviews on VeggieTales episodes, just like when PieGuyRulz did the same thing for the SpongeBob episodes, and I might think about reviewing Clifford episodes and critique them in a similar way as these, where I talk about which Clifford episodes are good, which are meh, and which are pure Big Bad Dog episodes (Big Bad Dog is a name I came up with for bad Clifford episodes).

What is the main reason you would give madame blueberry the rating of rotten.Do you think this absolutely deserves that rating Because in my opinion I think it absolutely deserves it from everything that you mention in this review.

I definitely would agree with you about this episode This is definitely a rotten episode and I would never recommend this to a lot of kids.It's a very depressing episode And it lacked what made the previous episode very creative and also very fun to watch. This episode on the other hand not so much This is definitely gonna make the bottom list no matter what. Overall, fantastic review.I'm definitely.I'm on the same page with you.This is definitely one of the worst episodes of the show.It's not bad, but the later episodes.All man you're gonna see how worse the later episodes are gonna get.
@fredricknoe31143 ай бұрын
Nah man this review ain't it. The thankfulness song might be more appreciatable as an adult, but it's an important lesson kids will hopefully learn before being homeless multiple times, falsey imprisoned while their family is gone or indifferent, and then almost killed over 3 dozen times while seeing others befall that fate. Aside from that I think that while not the funniest ever it's not all Blues and unfunniness.

Actually you did got Is that 1 character's name wrong?Her name is annie not mary But other than that I still do agree with you about this episode This has also been one of my least favorite episodes of the show hands down But like I mentioned the later episodes are gonna get worse And they're going to really start declining in quality And especially when you get the sweepy Beauty You are. Going to be seeing some of the most unfinished and most atrocious animation.You will ever see for a modern episode of veggietales Believe me I've seen a few videos on that episode.And what they've actually stated that the message they were trying to teach did not do a good job of teaching its message It's a very important message to both girls and guys.But you will see when you get to that episode.

However I do know about the show Caillou And I know that show was hated by parents.It was absolutely horrible and it also delivers bad messages to children mainly to pre schoolers.That is a show.I would never allow my kids to Watch Hands Down easily.One of the worst shows for preschoolers.

This episode is actually okay in my opinion not as great as the previous ones, but with a decent moral and good songs (for the most part) the episode is like a 6/10 episode for me. Though the cons DO get on my nerves so badly (no it's not the I'm so blue song) his cheeseburger is an example! I HATE this song. >:( The instrumental is bland, the concept is WAY too similar to To love a patty from Spongebob (Which makes no sense to me; why would people hate the episode but consider His Cheeseburger a classic? WHY?!), the story is the worst part because it's inconsistent, and I recognized years later that it's about Jerry.... wait JERRY?! WHY IS IT CALLED LOVE SONGS WITH MR. LUNT IF IT'S ABOUT JERRY???????!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! But aside from that, it had some pretty good songs (the Stuff mart rap is really catchy in my opinion) and the moral, while meh in execution, is fine in concept. But I can understand of why you don't like it. Good Review overall.

@@ThatMediaGuy150 Do you think the episode would be even better if Mr. Nezzer or even Pa Grape was to appear in the episode and told Madame Blueberry the consequences of being greedy, and a lesson about the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?
@ThatMediaGuy1502 ай бұрын
@@FlickaLovaReturns That's a really interesting idea! I don't know how that would fit into the confines of the story though...
@FlickaLovaReturns2 ай бұрын
@@ThatMediaGuy150 Well, after the Thankfulness song plays a second time with Junior and Dad Asparagus, what I think should have happened is that there should have been a scene where Pa Grape and Mr. Nezzer drop by at the Stuff Mart, and Pa Grape tells Madame Blueberry that she can't have everything she wants all the time, because that's called greediness, and he could have told her that if she kept asking for more and more stuff, it might make Madame Blueberry more unhappy, and it also makes God very unhappy because he wants everyone to be thankful for what they have, and that constant greediness can lead to drastic consequences, and then Mr. Nezzer tells Madame Blueberry the story about the time he used to be greedy when he said that Christmas was when we got stuff, until he discovered the true meaning of Christmas, which was about being thankful, and about giving things, NOT getting stuff, then Pa Grape tells Madame Blueberry that she needs to be thankful for the stuff she already has, and that will make God feel much better. What do you think? Would that scene fit around that portion of the episode, and do you think those added scenes I came up with could have ramped the episode up to the Fresh rating?

@@ThatMediaGuy150 And yes, while I did find Madame Blueberry's crying to be a little repetitive and annoying in this episode, I actually really enjoyed the closing countertop sequence where Bob and Larry were crying about how much they enjoyed the story and were touched by the lesson. What are your thoughts on the closing countertop sequence in the episode?
