I absolutely love samosas, I buy them at a family owned Indian restaurant near me. They used to be filled with big chunks of potato, handmade by their Grandmother. I noticed that now they're making them with mashed potatoes and I'm too afraid to ask why. They were so much better with chunky potatoes. I hope nothing happened to their Grandmother. The taste is still there, the texture change though has made a big difference in the enjoyability. I'm watching these be made and my word, that's a lot. I can imagine the wonderful aroma. I appreciate the hard work by everyone. This is one of the most wholesome channels on KZbin! 🧡 Of course, besides G'Ma, the children are one of my favourite parts to see!

Actually Samosa can be made both the way either from Chopped big chunks of potatoes or from small chunks and mashed potatoes .. there's not any hard rule for this.. You can make any of that as per your taste and preference.. Personally I like samosas made with mashed potatoes as it will absorb more spices and taste will be equal overall the samosa..
