Another awesome vid Ronny - good tip about the photographer's shadow, another thing that lets a lot of photos down is rubbish or an untidy camp in the pic, people get so fixated on their subject they lose sight of the fore and background distractions.

The x2 on a lot of phones isn’t necessarily a digital zoom. If your phone has more than one lens, and the light is good, it may actually be optical. In lower light, it’ll probably be digital; the narrower lenses tend not to let in as much light.

I mean I already thought you were a good dude, but knowiing you're a fellow Canon shooter. Thats a big thumbs up from me.. Also, when it comes to shooting with an iPhone, if you tap and hold on your subject that locks your focus and exposure so you can recompose, but then you can also move your finger up and down on the screen to manually adjust the exposure. you can also use another phones flash light function to "off camera" light your subject, we do this a lot when taking low light images of the kids or even a selfie, off camera light always looks better. One thing that upsets my brain is an image of a 4X4 where the antennas are cut off, It just feels incomplete. also wide angle shots of interiors are awesome. Great video on photography.

@Ronny_Dahl

The best way is to set yourself a challenge. Challenge yourself to improve on your best photo could be just changing the angle slightly, wheel position, vehicle position, lighting and the 3 settings (f stop, shutter and iso). A shallow depth of field always looks good but you have to nail the focus
@OverlandingNL
@OverlandingNL 4 жыл бұрын
You aren't using back button focus? I've been using it for a little while now. Takes some getting used to but taking focus off the actual 'shoot' button helps a lot when you wanna shift compesition / focus around.

Hi... Ronny awesome photography out there..I have a question for you. What is the recommended exhaust size for a 79 V8 non dpf model? 3 or 4 inch? What size reckon for the power?
@Ronny_Dahl
@Ronny_Dahl 4 жыл бұрын
3-3.5 inch in my opinion. 4 inch to me sounds a bit weird even a 3.5 can sound weird. I’ve got 3.5 but I reduced a one foot section to 3 as it sounded horrible. It fixed it. In regards to power and torque you can’t feel a difference it’s all about the sound.

Min 15:43, yo say you leave ISO 100 so "I'm blocking a lot of light out". Isn't the ISO, adjusting the sensitivity? The f/stop would be the light limitation. I'm no expert here, but that is what I have gathered from what I have learned so far. Thanks for your effort and time.

What an interesting video. Means nothing to me photography goes over my head. But still a good watch tho i will see what my android phone can do. Normally i just point and shoot, didnt know it was much more in depth than that aha. The corny background music going throughout the entire video is annoying though. It seemed to be too much going on taking focus away from what you were actually saying, especially when wearing headphones while watching the video. Hope the corny background music doesnt start creeping into these type of videos.

It’s interesting because I think most people think we all watch each other’s content? but I honestly rarely watch anyone else content for a number of reasons. 1 fear of subconsciously being influenced by other people’s content. 2 mainly due to not have any spare time to watch others as I’m buried in my own content and answering my audience.
