i would like to point out that dlc is not required to paint vehicles, just for the patterns. big thumbs up for that, finally not stuck with only one color for the vehicles

@@RayKit I think these kind of dlcs are completely fine. I mean Rust has a whole market about it and you pay 15 bugs for a wall color. The devs need to make any money out of the game to support developements and I think it is more fine to pay for stuff like this than to pay for a watch like in the past.

This DLC is not mandatory. I think the important thing is the panels coloring individually, i had no clue until i tried painting cars haha. Even with plain 1 color you can paint it a proper color for hiding, the extra patterns from the DLC are cool but not mandatory. With a plain color it is just as easy to hide a car if you paint the correct color for the environment. You don't have to buy it, you don't have to use paint, it's up to you, your choice. The patch contained a lot of very good bugfixes, more than a lot of earlier patches. There are some bugs attached to that, but some big ones were fixed the 1-2 days after. If they keep pushing out patches with bugfixes with approx 30-40 bugfixes in it, idk.. that will improve a lot of things. We just have to keep reporting bugs to the developers instead of whining about the amount of bugs under content creators posts while the devs actually fixed some major bugs that were in since the pre-Christmas update.

This game has the potential to be one of the greatest all time in a few categories, BUT...I will never accept a developer releasing DLC in early access, PERIOD! I'd rather see a team releasing modding tools, frankly.

I can respect your opinion. I believe the only thing we should be able to mod/create are maps. We can't have something that technically isn't finished yet as you know. Mods is what i've been waiting for, for a very long time. Cheers dude

love the info thanx... just a mabe stupid question... it is a bit hard to play solo and trie to get all the car parts to get going.. again only solo i mean i am struggling a bit dont want to cheat just a bit of a moduler recap and see if it could be better streamlined.. i cant play 4 hr a day for 7 days a week only have mabe 1 hr a day and want to make it fun ext... not running around finding car parts... sorry if i sound.. negative... kind regards Butch

Hi Ray, gotta say not a big fan of the new Puppet spawn system, I was hoping for a random map wandering horde ( kind of like days gone,/walking dead) in addition to the normal system that was in place from the beginning, but i suppose there are game limitations, it's a shame how the world seems so empty atm, obviously there will be tweaks and further up dates so here's hoping.......

It's nice that you can now paint vehicles, but you would have to have one first. First of all, it would be important to prohibit players from claiming many vehicles. This is a big problem on the official servers, everyone who plays there knows what I mean. The vehicles are available to all players, not just a select few. If you leave things as they are now, you might as well get rid of vehicles altogether. I can't understand why the developers of the game don't do anything about it.

Why have so many paint cans ? Why dont they just have something like a futuristic paint gun that basically accomplishes the same thing but with just one item instead of a bunch of stuff Not a programmer but seems way easier

I don’t understand people who fuss on DLC. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Plain and simple. I think in the case with scum DLC purchases are a good idea. That money helps fund development of the game. Unlike other more established games like say call of duty. You know damn good and well that DLC fund money don’t go back into developing a game that’s already developed. It’s a personal choice. And it’s for each person to make. Personally. Not at the choice of others. Live and let live.

I've bought 7 Scum DLC's myself. Pretty much don't use any of them. Haven't decided about the paint DLC yet. I'm thinking NMS. Not one DLC in all of these years.

@@flash1259 I’ve bought some. I didn’t buy the one with the character from breaking bad. I thought it repetitive of the Danny Trejo DLC and I use that one all the time. I may buy the paint DLC. Just because I like having options of camouflaging a vehicle rather than just being stuck with bright colors when attempting to conceal it

Now I need to find out how many cans of paint it takes to paint the entire truck. I don't worry about concealing it.

aha aha you know we care more about fixes instead of new implements , its the cry of the community and its about time, 5 years into ,,EARLY ACCESS'' ,so never throw it over this bow please, dont forget they allready made millions...and that's cool ,they did it ! Such a cool game, but since day 1 into now, all things were half implemented and broken . Server owners are losing player base since the horde. Don forget what mount of money is involved for all sources. Just saying. Much love Raykit

We'll get it.. just gotta play other games and have fun. Look at dayz. Several years without nothing. And still not unique. And it was a copy.. arma dayz mod..wished they took to the streets with dayz but didn't. Now look at it.. scum with mods is going to be wonderful. Especially new maps :)
