Scavenger was my first Transformers figure, Did not know what it was i just really wanted it. Is broken now, in the arm section but i still have it, & have since 2 other Scavengers, 1 sealed and 1 used. Reason the Vehicons have "faces" is for the Living Machine aesthetic, whereas the Maximals were technorganic (Organic and technological components fused at the cellular level).

I loved the Jhiaxus repaint of Jetstorm. That mold looks excellent in orange and black.

Despite the show designs being some of the worst in Transformers history with the exception of thrust and obsidian, Beast machines was a pretty good toyline. I actually like both the vehicons and the maximals, I thought the maximals were pretty neat. I mean sure you had figures like silverbolt, nightscream, and geckobot which were just crap, but most of them were fun with their weird designs like longhorn and hammerstrike and were overall pretty cool. also despite going back to their roots as vehicles, the vehicons still managed to be incredibly unique within almost every single one of the figures, and really I think the only vehicon that doesn't work is blastcharge, and that's it.

I think most toyline exclusive characters look better than onscreen guys (excluding vehicons), i wish some guys like Nightviper, Buzzsaw, Longhorn or some of Dinobots like Triceradon or Skydive appeared in actual show. And i think most vehicons would fit show fell, except Blastcharge which could be edited a bit to fit BM style.

Since ROTB's gonna be a trilogy, it would've been awesome to see these Vehicons like Jetstorm and Tankor in Live Action someday.

Wasn't a boss but the opening mission to the original armored core had protestors using drilling mechs and weaponized excavators with lasers on their buckets like scavenger to seige a bridge for better wages Repurposed tools and mining/farm equipment is a common trope but the assault excavator is one of my rare faves

I actually recall Scavenger not being a show character but rather toy-only. That being said, from what I recall on TFWiki, the RID 2001 Autobot release of Scavenger alongside a few other Beast Machine Vehicon repaints were described as female characters in that universe, so make of that what you will. Also, just gotta say, the Vehicon figures are pretty much the only legit nice BM era toys through and through. Like, yea the Maximal characters had one or two decent figures, but MAN did those designs not translate well into toys...not that the Vehicons really did either per se since their toys look shite all like their show models, but they're at least a bit more similar...

I think maximals had nice toys, the only ones that were "bad" were actual characters from show, though Blackarachnia was so decent that she still getting knockoffs of her mold. I think guys lile Longhorn, Hammerstrike, Nightviper, Skydive, Triceradon and maybe Snarl or Quickstrike could make a decent show / comic cast. I hope we will get some of BM guys in Legacy, show ones or toyline exclusive? Doesnt matter, as long as they will be good.
