Your videos are awesome and now I understand why your logic is impeccable when fixing these vehicles. It’s similar to my efforts. I am trained as a pilot and a cook, but my expertise is in people and management. While I can do the prior expertise, my impact is on helping folks in both specialties. Keep up the great hobby. Just love seeing someone tear apart vehicles and restore them. It’s a specialized skill combined with your videos even more special.

An LS Swap E9X series would be really cool. I've had an 08 328i auto for the past 4 years and love the car, but the motor/trans combo is really underwhelming. I had an 08 E90 M3 for a year and absolutely loved it. But the cost/benefit ratio wasn't really there. I honestly sold it because the 328i was just a more fun car to own and mess around with. I've been wanting to do a LS swap to build it into a poor man's E90 M3, but don't have the garage/shop space to do it now. You can also get into a 325i/328i/330i for less than half the price of a 335i now, so I think there's a lot of potential for these cars in the future as LS swaps become more common. Thank you for your channel and all that you do. It's because of youtubers like you that I've been able to make it to work for the past 4 years lol. I just replaced the fuel filter/pressure regulator after watching your DIY on the replacement, but that is the tip of the iceberg on all the time/money you have saved me over the years.

Mousa, Thank you for giving your backstory. Sorry you're selling your E90, but I understand. I've loved your content since you had the E90 bone stock (2015?) and your car was pre-LCI. You have something more technical and more quality in production with the BMWs that I don't see anywhere else on YT. I wish I could tell you just how much I appreciate you and the work you do on this channel. So, the words thank you are insufficient. Great work and know that we (subs or watchers) are always so glad to see you succeeding in your pursuits. Maybe I'll get some content out there this year with my car. @_weltspeed #projectweltspeed

I've never been a car guy. Honda or any handmedown was good enough for me. A relative sold me a stock e90 328xi after my previous car broke. Hood got stuck and searched good ol ytube for help. Your vid was clear and inspired me to fix it myself. Thanks to u I'm down about thousands of dollars in mods. But my car feels safer, newer, and I love how it looks. I grew an appreciation for cars and plan on keeping and modding this one for a very long time. U gave me a new passion

Thanks for sharing your story. We are brothers from another mother & father lol. I'm also an electro-mechanical engineer, also got my MCSE cert and built computers as well as robotics. Similar history to yours except I went full on automation engineering in industrial instead of staying with IT. I went back and forth between them a while before finally committing to what I do now (Automation engineering). I've worked on cars as hobbyist since my teens. I'm in my late 40s now. I'm currently a Director of technology for an aerospace company. I still do all of my own work on my cars. Like yourself I'm skilled in mechanical and electrical as well as electronics. Before becoming a director I spent years writing machinery programs in ladder logic. Anyways..... Really enjoy your channel man! Others have said it, your channel is SUPER UNDERRATED!!! I direct BMW enthusiasts to your channel regularly. Keep the content coming. A Q&A video for n54 I think would be a hit.

Yo man luv the channel! I've followed all your builds/DIY videos over the years and there excellent! If you could be sooo kind and do a E9x n55 build that would be freakin awesome!!! KZbin is completely over saturated with n54, b58 builds and as you already know the n55 is the red headed step child of the bunch! That doesn't mean that nobody doesn't want to see them bc there's crap tons of us that do! A DIY big turbo n55 with all the fixings would be the tits and guaranteed to draw in a bunch of new subscribers! Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing that n55 build 😉

Great story Musa. I did electronics too in school. But later when I worked in Radio/TV repair I had regrets. 3 of my friends were mechanics and I helped them on the weekends. I knew I had to go for automotive at school. But my career ended up in a plastic recycling factory where I worked for a very long time. My first car was a Mitsubishi Celeste 1.6. I started restoring it and had the time of my life. After a year the 3 mechanic friends told me it was my moment to buy a BMW. They knew a very nice car for me; it was an e21 323i. Which caused my 6-cylinder BMW addiction. The rest is history, hahaha. I had 2 e30's which I drove for a long time. After that my e36 325i vert came on stage. Because of my interest in the n54 engine, I finally discovered your channel in 2019 I believe. In 2021, I bought the 2009 vert 335i DCT, and I love it! Dutch regards, Nico.

Thanks, that explains a lot! No wonder you are so good. There are very few youtubers who can claim to be good at both the mechanical and the electronics/coding aspect of cars. It is usually one or the other or worse even none (yeah, there are some who specialize in real easy baby stuff and have amassed subscribers based on their superior video editing skills only). I am engineer by education too although it is on the flip side (i.e.Electronics but interested in car mech). I have done lots of DIY jobs on my E90 with your videos being my primary inspiration. My E90 is a daily driver. I want to move on and get another higher powered BMW but I cannot justify dumping my E90 as it is in perfect working condition despite being 11 years old. Thanks to you, the last time I took my car to a garage was years ago to get my tires balanced after getting a new set of tires - I've done everything else myself right on my driveway. *Edit: There are a lot of things you've done that are certainly above my paygrade. If I run into any of those serious issues, that's when I will dump my E90.

I've learned so much from your channel. Stumbling on to it has changed the way I am going about my build. Nobody in the bimmer community likes my car. But I'm determined to show people that she's still one of the best. The e92 n52 xdrive. ESS makes a supercharger for this platform if you can believe it. & I haven't seen any informal or successful videos attempting it anywhere. I think this car could be a 7 month. Spirited driving monster. If the drive terrain can handle 400+hp I should be fine. Let me know what you think. As long as it's not. Should have gotten the n54. 😆

I like your story and your interests (standalone, upgrades, coding, engineering). I work IT as well! (Cyber Security for the US Air Force). Since n54 injectors are so expensive and fail, how about doing a series on switching over to port injection and how to build and code a megasquirt controller, and fix other reliability issues on older BMW? I really like my 2011 535xi. I'd like to buy a 335 n54 wrecked off Copart and see how cheapy I could build a "reliable" N54 700hp beast! (Reliable 700hp n54? A unicorn, er, a "hoonicorn").

Thanks for sharing and for all of your videos and helpful advice. I am a (recently) retired teacher. I've always been a car guy but wasn't really able to indulge that too much during the child-raising years. Since my kids have been out and off the payroll these past 10 years I have spent more time working on/repairing/modifying my cars, especially my 2010 E91, 2011 E82, and 1999 C5 Corvette (along with doing basic maintenance on my wife's/kids'/parents'/MIL's cars (Subaru, Toyota, Honda, two Mazdas, BMW 650i, Saturn Sky). I am planning to do a 3-stage intake on my 128i. I'm comfortable with the installation of the manifold, DISAs, etc. as I did this to my E91. But, I had the tune on the E91 done by Turner. This time I want to do the tune myself using Bimmerlabs free tune, but I have a bit of trepidation about that process. The most I've done with tuning/coding is a few coding changes using Carly. Do you have any experience with this? I know your E90 was a 335 so probably not on that one but maybe sometime in the past . . . ? Anyway, thanks for doing this and I am looking forward to seeing whatever you do on the E8x.

Very nice video. Something you said really caught my attention. I have a 2013 x5 xdrive50i and I’ve been super fortunate to have really no issues as I maintain it preventably as much as possible. I have these constant can-bus codes that never go away and have no idea what they are. They are not a massive list or anything, but are not able to be handled by bmw dealer themselves, or my independent shop I always use. It seems they just get irritated with them and want to just move on because it doesn’t affect anything. If you have time or it catches your eye when I post them I’d appreciate your input. Thank you

I've always liked your DIY videos the best. I like how you show the removal or installation of the part all the way through and the pesky little things that can happen along the way. I also like how you explain things thoroughly. I've been needing to do my fuel regulator on my E92. I already have your video saved for that job. Thanks so much. Btw, did you ever do a update video on those turbos you got? How are they holding up. Please link me to it if you have.

I personally think an awesome F3x n55 EWG or b58 car would fit you well! Especially since you like electronics. It's such a great chassis.

Someone in the chat or anyone, please help me find the Nissan s13 or s14 that was said to be a drift car ? I am really interested to see how that car's performs The torque and power to the wheels is something I really want to see work. Depending on how that car runs I may try to find a way to gett N20 or n47. My mother had a 320i drive and inna Manuel it would have been a more fun. The 2020 340i xdrive has some not that much power gain however seeming those to engine built would provide great content. E30 with one of these 4 bangers would be Rad (imp) for a good fun street car possibly for the E36 as well. Any thought Vec. diy supports and randoms that are not subscribed to one of the best BMW channels in this format. Hats off to you and Jake Spencer. Jack has CV great forums. The 2 of you and Bavarian Auto works instructions/how too are by far the best N54/55 and b58 I have no doubt special times for this channel is coming. It you have the opportunity to go BMW's v8 or 10 would a blast to watch you build. Depending of the car some and a clean install you can't go wrong. Should e30's go with a 4 bangers or line 6. the newer 4 cylinders are lighter and I'm not sure that that doesn't to the 50-50 weight will be disrupted in a negative way.

You can code it to FTM (flat tire monitor) where it monitors wheel speed instead of the pressure sensors.
