This song speaks to me HARD but in a different way than what was probably intended. It seems the lyrics imply a couple trying to fight away their past to make their relationship work. My husband and my relationship is strong as granite, thank God, but the rest of our lives are absolute torment and a constant war we're fighting every day just to survive. "Face to face, we have to find a way, we have to find a way to end, we're drowning in our past til we wake the flame.. We have to find our way this time, drowning in our past til we wake" That's the beauty and poetry of music that's well done. It can speak to people on completely different levels. Very well done, Velo! Your song empowered me a lot in this life of mainly.misery and defeat. Music like yours helps me keep pushing every day. We only truly fail when we stop trying. 🙏
