The thing I like about Kat is that she didn’t need to lose weight to feel confident about her body. You see all those teen movies/tv shows where the fat girl loses weight and she’s finally popular and everything’s all perfect. It’s a nice change.

I think my favorite thing about Kat is that she spent the whole season trying to stick it to everybody who’s ever made her feel ugly and created Kat 2.0 only to realize when she had sex with Daniel that those people no longer cared and were no longer listening, and stripped down Kat 2.0 keeping the qualities that made her feel good( the clothes) and the ones she didn’t like behind(camming and pushing everyone away) I think we can all relate to wanting to shut down our bullies only to realize they disappeared a long time ago then deciding to finally live for ourselves

I feel like in most shows and movies,the obese/overweight person wants to prove all the bullies and people wrong by losing weight and "getting hot".Euphoria's Kat is still physically same like she was when she felt insecure,but now she's not insecure anymore,and I personally feel it sends a very powerful message.She's so much more attractive,not because of the clothes,but because of the attitude.That is so freaking powerful.

I loved this storyline so much. I also went from bullied to oversexualised as a fat girl and it took me a long time to learn not to link my self worth to my looks and how attractive people find me. I think people miss Kat’s arc a little. People think her new found confidence is what makes her rude to people but really it’s not confidence at all. She thinks caring what people think is what makes her hate herself and that’s why she stops caring. But in reality she still hated herself despite the positive attention she was getting from people and she didn’t understand why. When i saw little Kat cried i couldn't stop myself from crying. It's like seeing myself 4 years ago, when i was only 13 and i hated my appearance so much that i avoided every mirror, avoided every group photo and fasting, working out like crazy just to be skinny.
