Dan Lenard of the renowned yacht design firm Nuvolari - Lenard is embarking on a daring adventure: a transatlantic crossing departing on 20th January from Cadiz, Spain and arriving at the Miami Boat Show around the 14th February.
The challenge is that he will be alone on a 33 foot sailboat with no engine, no electronics, gps, log, compass or autopilot. It is a voyage with a mission.
The intention is to use this purity of sailing to highlight the plight of the seas. It is a rallying cry - an SOS to the entire yachting community to save our seas.

I believe, by taking time sat between two Yetis, we can share stories and genuinely engage the people who serve in the marine industry.
By telling the stories of the deck hands, the entrepreneurs and the inventors, the engineers and the designers, the manufacturers and suppliers, the brokers and the owners, and everyone in between, we provoke a stronger sense of respect and responsibility for each other and our industry. Ultimately, we will better serve the owners- a limited, passionate client base from which the purchase of one dream has a ripple effect that puts food on the table for millions around the world.
We are looking to partner with the best in the business, to help us spread this message and make our industry stronger by exploring our humanity.
We have multiple ways of doing this, away from the normal clutter of marketing videos. From podcasts, to panel discussions to hitting each other with pugil sticks, there’s lots of ways to collaborate.
