Based on the threads and the ending credits in this episode, you will see the acknowledgement for the following series like Street Fighter, Dragon Ball and their creators. Instead of parody approach, they do it as "Imitation is the greatest form of respect." Like the manga Veldora was holding is an actual manga series named 3x3 eyes (san x san eyes). The reason Veldora showed up is because Rimuru played a prank on him. He gave him the manga saying its all there but held back the last volume to teach Veldora a lesson for not paying attention at meetings. Little did he know that ended up saving his life cuz I'm not sure what Milim's plan was if he didn't show up to block her punch. Maybe it wouldn't have killed Rimuru but it would have really messed him up. At least Veldora got to meet his niece finally and got to play around with her.

Someone already beat me to explaining it, I'll just add a little more detail. Everyone Rimuru resurrected gained the ability Perfect Memory. It gives them a high defense against spiritual and mental attacks, but it also inscribes their memories directly into their soul. It's implied that a powerful enough person could use magic to effect someone's brain or change their memories without much trouble, but controlling and changing some else's soul against their will is so much harder that it's almost impossible. Which means that Shion is basically immune to mind control now. In theory, it also means that even if the physical body of someone with Perfect Memory is completely destroyed, Rimuru could just create a body for their soul to move into (like he did with Veldora) and they would keep all their memories and abilities. Also, remember when I said in the last episode that Rimuru can share abilities with everyone he's named? I suspect that is how he figured out so quickly that Clayman was trying (and failing) to control his mind. It's also part of why Clayman was not able to gain control over Shion at all. That, and the fact that she's so much stronger than him now probably also made taking control of her impossible too.

Just some extra stuff. Stamped she was growing stronger whole time and guy fought her for entire week but he didn't manage to stop her. In the end queen of spirits ramiris come to calmed both of them, possibly by absorbing all their energy which was enough to destroy whole world. In progress she was affected it and her core corrupt and she became reincarnating fairy we know. Guy is also protective of her because he thinks that it's his fault she became Like this.
