Im glad you made me buy this boat, still waiting for the horizon harbor tug before I use it. The old thunder tiger atlantic I built on 6s went well apart from the turns . No turn fins yet ,wants to lean way over , first test and I had to use it to rescue the wife's kyosho hurricane that flipped in the middle of the lake. Mate do we need that tug ,took me half an hour to push it back. 3 boats we've bought because of you and the great tests you do. Thanks Big B.

Good job on the PB! I wonder what that guy in the kayak was thinking when this water rocket came at him faster than cars on the freeway..... I especially liked the part where you let the kid drive the tugboat. Stuff like that can change a kid's life forever (and for the better). 👍👍

The kayaker asked if I could pull him around lol. The kids were really interested in the rc's, hopefully they go see Dan at hobbychest Jacksonville or Horizon hobby for there first boat. The 2 Brothers took turns driving the tug back and forth for the recovery mission.

Have you noticed the thin hulls on proboat fiber glass hulls?

Personally I think the hulls are about right, the only reinforcement they need is where the electronics are .

What up Bro?....i installed a SSS 3656 Brushless Motor 2030kv on my veles29 but i havent had a chance to run it yet though...i defiantly need to get a shorter rudder so that it doesn't flip over so easy at low speed...great job on your top speed!

Big B, looking at OSE it appears the rudder blade from the UL-19 is a bit shorter than the Veles 29” rudder blade, wonder in comparison if that would help you. Can you post where you got the aqua craft rudder blade.

The ul-19 rudder should be perfect for the veles. Unfortunately the aquacraft rudder I have is no longer available I've been holding on to that rudder for years waiting for the right boat to put it on. I was trying to find a link for you but couldn't find one. Sorry brother

B what prop were you running on the Veles . I got the new coupler from Offshore marine and went to the lake and the wind was blowing 25 mph waited 2 hours for it to let up a bit finally got the maiden run on ruff water 5s I think she is going to be a good boatif I ever get some flat water. My tug got a good work out. I didn't even try to put Miss Geico in with the wind. congrats on the 81 mph.

Man you really are making me want to pick up my first boat for the collection I like the sonic wake v2 but I think I want to start on the proboat 17 miss geico power boat as a starter boat I just missed the flash sale on it but I’m sure they will do another one what are your thoughts on that boat ?

The 17" mono (stunt boat)? I'd go with the blackjack 24 to be honest. It's a perfect starter boat and you cam grow in to it. Upgrade power drive line etc. I absolutely love mine.

Mr Mad PM me a while ago, his 85mph max speed was reached with another motor, my Veles reworked with only a different wiring scheme, 8mm connectors, a thinner rudder blade, is doing 79mph on a small pond, so probably over 80 on a longer straight.
