Hellooo!!! After an agonizing wait, I’ve finally uploaded this highly requested video on my channel. I deeply apologize for the delay. 😅 I’ve been very busy these past few weeks from my former work in Doha, flying to Davao & staying there for a few days, finally flying back to Cebu, meeting friends and family, and finally settling back into a routine at home. It was pretty hectic but I'm so glad to be back!
For those of you who sent me questions, thank you very much! This video is a little bit long because there was a considerable amount of inquiries & I wanted to cover as much ground as I could to be able to paint a clearer picture & answer thoroughly. INTERNSHIP: It was the chillest time in my Velez life LMAO you only struggle when it comes to waking up on time for duty, making sure you wont be late, making sure the MT INCHARGE wont catch you sleeping and loitering, doing your job right.

Hello po ate kate. I'm an MT Intern now wohoooo! I really didn't expect I'd survive 3rd year since I'm not super smart haha but here I am. Also Velez really is very hard, especially if also like me and like you po, ate kate, who is used to cramming na since everyday you've got exams and then laboratory questionings and practicals. It's just so overwhelming! But with good friends, support of fam, and perseverance.. Kaya rajud diay te! Ay we had Doc Jude as one of our Mycology and Virology lecturer pag third year. Thanks so much Kate for making this video. We just had our reunion in LV over a week ago. I was watching our class Jerusalema Challenge video when this particular video of yours popped up in KZbin. Katrina Im not sure if it’s any different now but back in our time most people didnt really study for it! If you’re not confident with your background knowledge, maybe just read up a little about biology, chemistry, physics, etc. 🙂

One of my worst challenges in Velez was a summer class which I took thinking I would just breeze through it .. bec it was just supposedly a liberal arts class .. socio anthropology class … I ended up studying it like crazy .. half of the class failed.. as in ! The liberal arts class ended up ruining my grades although I was one of the 8 people that passed I only got a barely passing grade of 2.9 . Unacceptable!! My dream of graduating as magna cum laude .. was put to a test and was now slowly dwindling .. into a reality check ! This is not even a major subject ! But , the life lessons and the academic lessons we learned in Velez prepared us for the challenges in our professional life ..in fact ,90 % of us who graduated in Velez are now either successful in their profession and working in the US or UK .. and those who stayed in Cebu became great role models ,leaders and entrepreneurs ! …I on the other hand is a Proud Velezian working here in the NewYork City area ..

maytheforcebecontigo Not really! After college, what matters is that you just have good records. Of course the school you come from matters, but it doesnt really hinder you from being hired. After all, what’s meant for you will be yours. And also, thank you! 💓💓

Hello po ate kate, if I may ask po, what do you mean po na the exams in velez are ridiculously made, like never in your mind would you expect and exam to be like that. Like is it the type of tests po sa exam, or is it like the format used, or maybe po it is the length of the coverage ? I hope you can answer it po :) thank you

Lemuel Ang There are so many random, weird tests! Two tests vividly come to mind though: 1. The exam with grammatically incorrect questions & choices which were done on purpose to confuse us even further. 2. The Iron method exam. There were so many important points in the whole module but the test was just arranging the steps IN YOUR OWN WORDS. They had to be composed & arranged correctly or else one mistake leads to all the steps after that to be wrong as well 😅😂
