Congratulations on your achievement of 1k subs! Very cool. The work you have put into your videos really shows and it's been fun seeing your skills grow in the video editing department. Voiceover audio in particular is very clean and clear. I totally understand losing the motivation to play EQ (am in a rut myself ATM) and always think it is good to take a step back to reevaluate. Good to see a video from Sarleon the Great, Hero of Cabilis! 🐍 Always saddens me when I hear great EQ video makers like you say the dreaded words like "responsibility" and "playing less video games" but change is good man, and it makes me happy to hear about people doing stuff like youve mentioned like volunteering at church and getting out and playing some pokeball 👍 I burnt out on P99 awhile back, quite awhile actually, have been on the live servers for a few years now, I just dont have the time for P99. I wish I did though, but its just too good, too hardcore for me. Live lets me be a lazy slob and log in for 5 minutes and accomplish things. In P99 if I don't have at least an hour then I wouldn't even bother coming on. Have felt the burnout from Everquest as a whole lately actually, maybe too much of a good thing! You have to do you, Sarleon brother. If you lose interest and stuff in the game then just walk away for as long as you want but hopefully you never make the decision to stay away for good. But I think we both know one does not simply quit Everquest 😄 I came back like 6 years ago or so now to P99 telling myself "just 10 minutes, one last time, grab some screenshots and I'm out forever." And here I am, 40 years old now. It's more than a game, its a part of me. I may stop for awhile and switch up to a different game or do some real life stuff for X-amount of time, but Norrath will always be in my heart and in my life in some way or another, and I know that until they shut down the servers, that someday I will be back. Even if it is just for "5 more minutes" haha. You do you brother. Love your videos and hope you the best no matter what you do or where you go. Seeing guys like you potentially walk away from the game kinda feels like separating from military buddies or something when you leave the service and come back to the world. Happy to see them go on their way and do their thing, but sad to lose those connections though. Whatever happens to Sarleon the Great, keep us updated though! And if you start another channel then definitely come back on here and let everyone know, regardless of what the content is ☺☺ Take care man, hope absolutely nothing short of the best for you always, but whatever path you go, always remember the good times in Norrath. 🧙‍♂

Ah thank you Great Esox :) Yeah I can relate to "It feels like a part of me". I may come back time to time, but I have nearly satisfied all the EQ I missed out on as a teen. Will keep updated if there are changes and thanks for watching the video. Best to ya!

I leveled my monk and mage at upper frenzy, usually duoing with an enchanter or rogue. If i was solo i would usually do crystal eyes on mage and random stuff on monk since he couldn't take out nameds. Was fun!

Any recommendations on getting the spectre pet? I'd rather not grind out 25kpp to buy it. Thx Love the vids😊

Well thanks! I recommend getting some friends and 1) Juggernauts in Seb w/ Tola and Protector 2) Guardian Wurms 3) Cliff Golem lottery 4) Crypt + Emp in Seb. You can duo or Trio Cliff Golems pretty easily but there are mobs with better drop rates. Lastly you can join and guild and join raids with Dragons or get a VP key. EoT drops a lot in Veeshens Peak. Also Harla Dar if your guild does that. Quite a few options, but very hard to get solo.
