I used to do the same thing skateboarding, sometimes it's good to take a step back and say what am I doing wrong and really look at what you are trying to accomplish for the trick you are trying and if it doesn't work don't go insane and try it over and over unless your intent was to drill that specific trick. You can get really burnt out doing that. Sometimes it is good to let go and try a different trick entirely

100%! There is a fine line on when you should let go, and when you gotta push through to make it possible to obtain a specific trick even when you are having a weaker session than normal. Allu was really determined on chasing double swings that session, which inspired me to land dubdub. It was not working out at all, I have no idea why I kept hitting my head to the wall. Usually my rule is, if I don´t land something with 3 attempts, I move on. For some reason did not listen to that rule this session, and ended up getting crazy frustrated :D

@@Vellusta I see, yes! Also what you said made me think of something to further this type of mental obstacle, if you train a trick and its not working and you continue to purse it and it still isn't working not only is it insane the risk isn't worth the reward and you are actually loosing legit progress and you are training incorrect movement. You are training yourself how to not give up on a trick you could have given up and tried multiple different levels of tricks in the time that it took to die trying for that one specific break through.
