Velobike Mobility Scooter ZT15 3 wheels 2023

Here is my new mobility scooter. I would highly recommend anyone who has health issues like myself to invest in one of these as they will change your life.
They have a selection of colours. Just check out their site and choose what colour you like.
I've had scooters in the past, but hands down, this is the best one.

I have had my ZT15B for 4 years. I love it. Mine does not have an alarm on it. If mine was stolen I would buy the same one as yours. When I shop, I put canned food in the compartment and use S-hooks to hang bags containing bread and cereal etc from the basket. Or lock stuff from the first shop in the compartment while I go in another shop. The switch in my compartment allows me to switch speed setting 3 to 16mph. I use this setting to go on a cycle track to the out-of-town shopping centre (Tesco, B+M etc.). I have to watch out for potholes though! But I need to use a trolley to shop as the basket is on the back and it is a big machine to take into even a supermarket.

Hi Lawrence, so sorry for the late reply but my laptop wasn't working and I found it a bit difficult to leave replies using my phone! I had a four wheel Faster Scooter before I had this one and had it for just over a year. Found it a bit difficult when in shops for the turning. That didn't have a alarm on it but now I have this one it's better for turning and I find it very easy when going into shops like B&M and Tesco's and so on. This one comes with the alarm as you know, this is a newer model. It's a 2023 and the one's that are '23 have the fitted alarms on them. This one also has the 3 speed and the mileage is converted from kilometers into MPH. It's a lovely scooter and as I said, I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting one or upgrading their own. As the weather is getting better I'm venturing out to many places I wouldn't be able to go in the car. I'm also getting a lot of compliments on it which is nice! I haven't encountered any potholes as yet, but I'll keep my eyes out for them!! I've also got a full Motorcycle helmet which I do wear but can't wear it in this weather due to sweating! @@winniepeg2020 Hi, the furthest I have been is about 10miles - that is as far as I wanted to go. I weigh 20stone so about 280lb and so that will affect the range. When I got back that time the scooter was fine all the way home. There was a journey where I did not record the mileage and about 1 mile from home the scooter slowed down but got me home. That was 2years ago and about three years after I bought it. I could have kept using it on shorter journeys (and taking the charger with me!) but I decided to get new batteries from Velobike that were on offer for £100 delivered. My brother-in-law and I removed the black tray of the compartment under the seat and removed the one large battery. It was easier to install the 4 separate 20amph batteries they supplied! I now know the battery size so the next time I replace the batteries I will get 4 'mobility scooter' 22amph batteries for £160 as others have done. I think there is still plenty of life left in these batteries but I will not attempt another 10mile journey on these batteries now. I 'conditioned' the batteries by going on a short journey then progressively longer trips.

@@sandwichbar8226 I have not gotten my ZT15B above 26km/h which converts to 16mph. I think Rickies scooter is a ZT15D which has the alarm and display in MPH. I cannot see a switch that would convert my display to MPH. Maybe they made the display show MPH when the scooter became popular in the UK. Are you sure the display is in MPH?

Hello, if someone from the EU bought this, would the 3rd gear not function at all because it's the UK version? you mention 1st gear is 4mph and 2nd is 8mph and you can't use 3rd, so I was confused if you meant you can't use it because of the law or if you mean it literally doesn't function at all even if you put it in 3rd.

Is the motor on the back wheels or is it powered by front wheel ? If it’s back wheel powered is it the two back wheels been powered or single wheel? Thanks

Hello there great informative video thank you. How is the scooter still going? I was going to purchase the Greenpower scooter but so many negative reviews yours looks much better are you still pleased with it? Any issues? Also are you able to go around supermarkets with it? Kind regards Richard.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out. The scooter is still going great. My advice is not to purchase the Greenpower scooter. I have a friend who used to work for them but has since left because of how they treated their customers and because of how bad their scooters are. He is the one that steered me away from purchasing a Greenpower. So listen to the negative reviews, they are not lying! I am more than pleased with mine. There are no issues whatsoever. Yes, I'm able to go into supermarkets with it. I used to have a 4 wheeled one and that caused me some issues with the raduis and found myself going back and forth but with this one, it's just one straight turn. I've been getting a lot of attention with my scooter! There's not been one outing that someone hasn't paid me attention or stopped me to ask where I got it from, I even get motorists beeping me because they like it! It's a beautiful scooter if I say so myself. My four wheeled one was a red one but on the advice of my Mrs, I opted for the blue and it's very striking! I love it and love going out on it every day. My wife and I go everywhere, she on her e-bike, basically just everywhere with it. I charge it up and off we go! If you get one of these, you will not regret it. The customer service is brilliant too. Hope this helps. Sorry for the confusion. All the gears work if they are connected but in the UK, mobility scooters are only supposed to do 8 Mph if you can find private land, it should be ok for the 3 speed. Hope this helps

What does the screen look like when cully charged so i no i havent used it yet and i dont no how to turn off the main head light it has 3 settings i can only get it low i cant turn main headight of compleatly i dont no how to and do you leave the meys in and it switched on when harging tx nk plz

The UK Velobike distributor tell me that the side lights are always on when the ignition is on, even when the switch is set to “off”. You can switch the head light on or off and dip the beam but you can't turn the side lights off. Seems silly, but that's what they say.
