Great looking bikes, I'm getting that feeling again that I want a Velo. Always had BSA's and Triumph but a Velocette would sit nicely along side my reliable B31.

Nice Bike Phil. The pinned and brazed construction of the frames on Velos went a long toward their superior handling over contemporary machines. Interestingly, the front down tube on Velo frames tapers internally, thicker nearer the headstock. I machined the headstock on my MAC to take taper roller bearings. It has stunning handling and steers like it's on rails

Hi Phil, Your enthusiasm for everything Velo is great to see. We are hugely active here on Velo projects manufactured from scratch. I have had Velos since 1966. Sold a few recently including a very quick MK 1 OHC 1927. I still have a 1937 unrestored MOV,93K miles and all paperwork from 1945. Also a MK 11 KSS i built myself. Absolutely perfect machine for riding all day. Do you know Pat Clancey?. best Regards from U.K.

What a lovely video, nice to see such passion for these lovely old bikes. Are you doing a video on the KSS? I also love the fact that Burt Munro's other bike was a Velocette.
