Veloster 2016 Catch Can Install. Vlog-60

Just installed a catch can (minus the breather) on my 2014 veloster re: flex. I put it in the same position and routed the lines in the same spot. After watching multiple how to videos yours was the best and most informative. On another note that cold air intake is the sickest looking one I've seen and may have to upgrade to that. Big thanks👍👍

i'm a year late, but a little correction, that hose doesn't go to your exhaust, that's actually your intake. the vacuum from the intake pulls from the pcv valve. you installed it correctly, but that's the whole reason for the catch can, because it goes into your intake to be reburned and that causes the carbon buildup.

also, that pre-drilled hole you found to mount the can to... they forgot to put your coolant reservoir back in after the motor change. Not sure if you still have the car, but for anyone else reading, if you don't have a coolant reservoir there, someone dun fucked up XD

Nice video, that tube that goes into the exhaust, did you change the hose? Like make it longer? So it would attach to the out side hose of the oil catch can? How’s the catch can working?

Hi, I just wanted to say thx for this video. I just added my oil catch can today by going off of your video. When I added the little breather filter it whistled really loud like a very high pitch whistle. I had to take it off and plug it. Did this Happen to you ? Not sure why mine whistle very loud. Can hear it from inside the car while driving.

You shouldn’t use the filter on the pvc side. It’s a closed system if you use filter u create a vacuum leak. Plug it. If you add a 2nd can for the breather line going to intake tube then u can user breather filter there
