SYF 2013 Yuhua Secondary School (Band no.22)

Well I have to say that both Yuhua and CTWINDS did relatively well. but i envy Yuhua alot more than CTWINDS. I was there during both their performance. Yuhua is small. Damn small. So small yet so strong and vibrant. With their size and standard, i know that they are playing one person per sector. Credits to the trumpeters, trombonists and clarinetists.... especially both trumpet and clarinet section. well done yuhua concert band! I wish i can have a chance to be under the instructor's baton.

Well i can't really remember the piece quite well but each person will need to play one part. Like for example the clarinets i think there is only 2 first 3 second and 3 thirds. For trumpets and cornets I think it is 3 trumpets and 2 cornets? Or the other way round. But believe my words, they are really small for a "famous" band. It would be nice if Yuhua and CTWINDS would do a concert together! Since Alvin came from Yuhua too.

How small was the band? But they sure sounded strong,loud and big as well. Quite impressive I must say!

I think the screaming and singing part CTWinds did better, but overall I think both Band is not bad

Mr Alvin is also from Yuhua.I think different conductor have different way of interpret the piece but I think both did well although CTSS did much better than Yuhua.All the best for 2015 SYF!

Well overall the trumpeters and french hornists are quite tired on that day.... so ya we audience do understand, but the judges don't give a damn. That what makes CTWINDS better. And if the players are at good state, both would be on the same level.

Well i'm not from neither Yuhua or CTWINDS but yeah CTWINDS is better by 15%-23% than Yuhua.
