Can Budi g work as a low gain OD without a volume boost? Is it hard to get unity gain or even a gritty underboost with it?

Awesome playing!! I have a few questions… I have Vemuram Jan ray and I am recently thinking of buying Budi g. I am wondering if budi g can replace Jan ray. Do you think they sound similar? And do you think they sound good when stacked together?? Thank you!!

No,they don’t. They sound totally different. Budi G is a booster with gritty gain which is not driven tone ish. If you’re looking for a super clean and gritty low gain booster in Vemuram style , Get the Budi G. Stucking both pedals sounding superb!

I use OX into a Volt interface and a condenser mic is used. My Classic Reverb Sig is 50w , gain structure down position.
