I don't know if Ven. Robina ever sees these comments, but I think this is interesting and would like to pass it on to her. I have a BS in human development and have followed research for decades. There was a human boy who had a brain MRI for some reason, not because his brain was defective, but to eliminate it as a cause of an illness he had. They discovered upon examining the MRI, that he only had only a physically small portion of a brain, but he had a normal IQ and learning ability, such as his speech developed in age appropriate ways. This to me, as a Buddhist, was one proof that there is a great difference between science's understanding of the brain and Buddha's correct knowledge of Mind. And I think it is proof of karma; he got to come back with a human body; wanted to come back when he did; but had valuable qualities from previous lives. Thanks, Ven. Robina. - Cate
